Airport worker 'stole jewellery from passenger as she went through security'
A passenger allegedly had jewellery stolen from her by an airport worker as she went through security, it has been claimed.
It is understood a security officer, employed by Securitas, was allegedly seen taking a bracelet from the plastic trays used by passengers at baggage screening.
Securitas is the security firm which Liverpool airport uses to provide passenger and baggage screening , as well as aircraft searches.
A spokeswoman said: “I can assure you any security matters pertaining to this incident with our customer Liverpool John Lennon Airport are being handled internally with the upmost priority," reports the Liverpool Echo.
“At this time we would decline to make any further comment.”
It is understood the alleged incident occurred earlier this month .
A Liverpool John Lennon Airport spokesman said: “The airport company is aware that Securitas, who perform aviation security duties here at the airport, have taken disciplinary action towards one of their employees, subject to an internal investigation which is ongoing.
“No further details are available at this moment in time.”

Indeed. The regolith - soil - is made up of @ 25% glass, so it's one big, **** off mirror in the sky. The glare and refraction from its surface is one of the reasons why the moon-landing conspiracy freaks completely ballsed-up their reasons for the 'doctored' shadows in the photographs taken on the surface.

Two Dogs Rescued
With the order for women and children first into the lifeboats, plus the knowledge that there were not enough lifeboats for everyone on board the Titanic to be saved, it is a bit surprising that two dogs made it into the lifeboats. Of the nine dogs on board the Titanic, the two that were rescued were a Pomeranian and a Pekinese.
