Also the praise Klopp gave Milner suggests he really likes him.
maybe, or he could be just trying to make out he likes him to get that bit extra from him, as he knows he only really has a couple of seasons in him, and he doesnt have better options at the moment.

I'm hoping we see more out of Clyne going forward - thought he was terrible on the ball today and has been this season.

Exactly - we don't have a choice right now.

I think some Russian has paid the saints fans to "forget" the two clear pens not given to us today.
They are actually saying there were no pens that we should've Benn given in their match day thread.

Disgraceful the level of corruption in the game these days

I can think of at least 2 blatant penalties. I missed the first half hour, probably another in there too. I'm sure there's an anti Liverpool campaign going on, it's so obvious. Why are the refs so clearly biased? Money talks, real shame as it's ruining football.

The PL pays so much money, even ****ty little clubs like Southampton can afford refs nowadays. ****ing sick of it to be honest.

Going to post the same on the Saints board now [HASHTAG]#fuming[/HASHTAG]

That way of working is very damaging though, saying he is the perfect player but sell him not long after, the players would start to not believe anything he says.

managers do it with players now days more often than we realize. we dont have many options at the moment is the problem, and it doesnt hurt to tell some of these egotistical players what they all want to here, how wonderful they are, if it gets that extra 10-20% even though its bollocks its worth it.

klopp isnt an idiot, and neither is millner.

Yes but why say something like that on TV, when he could say it privately?

if i knew the answer to that one i would be a manager my self lol. i can only guess it would be to make other players try that bit harder to say hey what about me boss, i am just as important, also with the experience milner has, he is trying to use it as a positive on the rest of the team, as we have lost probably our 2 most important team players in hendo and studge.

You seemed to enjoy that goal today. Had Fellaini scored that for United you'd be crapping on about hoofball!

Anyway, I'm sure Klopp's first league win is around the corner. You have the Chavs next which is a gimme.

Not sure you lot are going to get on with Klopp long term.
You all think he is a great manager, he is a believer in the high, fast press (Brendan anyone?).
You all think he will set the team up better, he plays Lallana and Coutinho together yet many of you agree they cant play together.
Many of you want Milner out (he is not good enough), Klopp thinks he is the perfect player.
So far it seems his ideas go against what many of you want, is he the right man for you?
