It's irrelevant, whoever takes over we'll finish mid table again. The same Duchatelet model will continue, the man that takes over will be sacked in 10 months

Whoever comes in will be on a rolling contract and won't be someone with experience of the championship. Depressing.

Sorry I shouldn't have used those words, I'm angry but that's not an excuse. I'll get rid of it.

    Wikipedia says it all,
Fraeye was hired as the new head coach of third division VW Hamme. He is also working as a football consultant in the network of Roland Duchâtelet.
    He's our man

Just read this post on Yahoo: Fill in the name of manager and club:

"Those who think sacking XXXXX will cure ZZZZZ's problems are missing the point. The club is rotten and run by people who are not qualified."

Wrong! Correct answers are "Sherwood" and "Villa".

Well got back from sightseeing in LA. Too many beggars to be fair, and crap public transportation. Getting sidetracked here.

Had about 11 texts informing me that Luzons been sacked and Malky was at the game. I said to all of them "about time" and "God I hope he's not our next manager"

Apart from Watford, he's gotten Wigan relegated. Not exactly what we need. We don't need another network one.

Obviously didn't see the match, but they told me that a load of players came back; if that's the best we can do with our best squad, we are ****ed!

First half we were OK easily the better team then Brentford scored out of the blue a very simple goal and that was it game over .
In many ways worse than Preston as at least Preston looked decent on the night .
Brentford were rubbish we had pretty much our best side out there and lost 3 0.
Luzon goes what next dread to think....to be continued ......

For once I even found myself agreeing with one of those Reams posts on ITTV (Charlton fans are utter arseholes etc etc). You're getting sacked in the morning, sing the upper north. Yeah right, and when that happened to Bob Peeters, what happened. The incoming stooge will have the same players, and the same boss, so what will change? Or we can all dress up in Black and White in a desperate attempt to get Ben Hayes back into the heirachy.
I woke this morning to see betting is suspended on both Karel Fraeye and Malky Mackay. Karel is currently in charge of a Belgian league 3 side, but I hope this may be the result of an announcement on a fake twitter account. For once there are good managers available (Lambert Pearson and Davies of you like them) without resorting to Roland's unemployable mates. I half believe the Malky rumours, as he was there, and it would be a sop to the fans and might make them calm down (apart from those who dislike racists and homophobes), but there is better if RD and KM take the time to look.
Alternatively, they could bugger off to Alcorcon, but that would be a wish too far.

And so it continues. The SLP reporting Karel Fraye to be appointed!

No surprise but when will things ever change? Another inward appointment from a system that had been proven to lack a basic understanding of Championship football. If this is confirmed as I suspect it will be then in reality nothing will change. The club is in a downward spiral that shows no sign of slowing. All displays of unhappiness directed at the owners should not be discouraged and in fact welcomed but the hard reality is that unless there is someone out there willing to pay the asking price then it is all academic. As shown at Standard Liege they will sell when they decide and at the price they want.

Today is a dark day for CAFC and a deeply troubling one for the future. Not sure what lessons have allegedly been learnt but they are not obvious.

I hope I'm am completely wrong but think we all know dep down that I'm probably not.

If Fraeye is to get the job I don't see him getting a chance, I for one will feel like this guys got 6 months until he gets the sack and the next one comes in. The Valley faithful will not get behind him and can see boos if he is announced at the next home game.
