Really interesting, I wonder if the broadcaster can solve this one before the race.

Morning, team. Firstly, there was obviously something amiss with Miss Crick yesterday as she went out like a light at Fonters Park and trailed in well beaten. That, believe me troops, was not her true running. In fact yesterday was a horrendous day for the Alan King barn as he had 3 runners, all odds-on (including one who was long odds-on), and all 3 were beaten! You can smell the fear and apprehension, about the yards well being, in the Wiltshire wind this morn – either that or the drains are blocked again.

Not going to bang on and on about the one I like today but hopefully he’ll nail the card commencer at Ludders later on. Although 8/15 is hardly a price for a simple working man such as my good self.

    Good luck, pilgrims.

Anyone seen the change to the ‘Pertemps’ series this term?!? Most, I say most, interesting. Instead of the first 8 in a qualifier being eligible for the final it's now only the first 6 past the judge. Gives new meaning to the phrase ‘more plots than an Agatha Christie novel’. Qualifier at Cheltenham of the morrow I see.

A proposal that I’d like to see implemented re each Qualifier is that rather than paying out on the winner those bookie chappies pay out on who finishes 6th. Again ‘more plots than an Agatha Christie novel’. More runners in each of these qualifiers will be aiming to finish 6th than 1st of that you can guarantee. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more...

If anyone has access to French racing, you may want to tune in to Equidia in the next 15 minutes as Zarkava's first runner (her fourth foal) ZARAK makes his debut in the 12.20 (11.20 BST) at Deauville.

Her offspring to date have been:

ZERKAZA (5yo mare by Dalakhani) - unraced
ZARKASH (colt by Sea the Stars) - died in a training accident last year aged 3
    ZARKAR (3yo colt by Galileo)
Unnamed yearling colt by Redoute's Choice
    Unnamed filly foal by Frankel
Covered by Invincible Spirit earlier this year

The first at Chelmsford is a pretty good maiden. I fancy Banham to keep up his family's record. He's a half-brother to the useful colt Sea Defence who is now out in HK. If I was at the course I'd also have a tote place on Clear Evidence in the same race: finished last on his debut but ran a lot better than that and was cut up by his stablemate ridden by Durcan. Let's hope he doesn't get in his way or Banham's again this afternoon.

Well he won very easily. Dropped out towards the rear he settled well before making his move in the last 400m and putting the race to bed under a hands and heels ride, winning by about 1.5 lengths.

Just found this place and hopefully i can join in and give some winners,

Two i fancy today are Hadfield and Amuse me both at Carlisle where Dicky Johnson looks like he could go through the card.

Got a tip of a decent source who can be hit and miss but the form is woeful but anyway in the 3.50 i was told Sliabin e/w best price 20/1 with Paddy Power.

Ste, what do you think of the Euro play off draw, as I think we got lucky in getting Bosnia. Should qualify.

Balicks I was happy to avoid both Sweden & Denmark and the fact we are playing at home in the second leg is a bonus. Can't say I know to much about Bosnia but I watched them in a couple of games in the world cup last year and they were average.I think we have a decent chance of getting through were we will most likely be truely spanked in the group phase like last time!Great excuse for a piss up though!
