The judical system is a joke for allowing his trial to be put back for such a period. Sunderland are a joke for paying and playing him. His in a enviable position of being a footballer, someone that kids look up to (hopefully from afar). With a job like this comes responsibility.

he should not earn that type of money in the meantime and what the courts should apply is a deduction in pay to the minimum wage whilst we wait for a trial. If he is then found innocent, big if, then he there should be a system in place where he can make a claim for loss of earnings due to false allegations and the young lady should be legally prosecuted.

If I was earning over £4m a year, id probably be pretty much innocent of anything as well, even murder, might do a year behind bars but id be out on house arrest [HASHTAG]#Oscarp[/HASHTAG]

I hope his scumbag solicitor sleeps well at night on a bed full of money!

Unfortunately I think I am right, otherwise he would not be allowed to do what he is doing, it's called the law. You have your opinion which obviously you are entitled to but please don't preach your thoughts about what it should be when it's obvious to everyone else including the legal system what it is.

That's just my opinion Pops, I think the guy is a pathetic... Well it doesn't matter does it?

Be a lot of eyes on the trial, no doubt a lot of intuitive comments will be made then, I'm happy to post mine now.

That`s fair enough mate. I`m just thinking Ched Evans. Even after conviction, new evidence etc. It just seems unsafe to me to brand the bloke.

What surprises me is the amount of people prepared to back him if he admits he shagged her but thought she was old enough.

imagine how that girl will feel if he's done it but gets away with it on some technicality. Imagine how that will look to girls being abused all over the country, knowing that even if you report it they could get away with it.

If he's done it, no excuses, shoot him, straight in the face.

Spot on mate. If they sit back we won't beat them. We are good going forward BUT we won't break them down if they defend properly and try to counter us. If Mitrovic can survive this match, he will have turned that corner (hopefully). He and Perez look good. We need to sort out the CM massively though.

I think once Thauvin settles in (he's only 22 and I'm confident he will come through but may take half a season or so) then we can bring Wijnaldum in from the wing instead of one of the donkeys we currently have in the middle there. We have some ability between Tiote/Anita/Wijnaldum/De Jong/Sissoko/Aarons/Thauvin/Colback but it's finding the correct combination and getting them to gel.

At the moment it is a weakness and it shouldn't be.

Our defence. Well that's just ****e.

Yeah. Wij should not be on the wing. He would be even better in his rightful position. Thauvin will come good. He is strong on the ball and can beat a man. He will do better than Cabella BUT we must be patient.

Some fans are comparing him to Payet and suggesting we bought a dud already. Payet is 28 and has years of experience in the first team behind him whilst Thauvin is only 22. It's no surprise he's taking longer to settle, give him more playing time when we can and then a few months before worrying about him too much. Sadly our poor start to the season is going to limit opportunities for players not immediately performing.

I think most football fans are alright but once you boil down to the types who are keen to be seen/heard on tv and radio you have a lot of guff being spouted which is purported to represent the majority when it really isn't.

We have plenty of tools who support us but they're our tools. The mad, horse-punching bastards.
