Top 4 will be Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, plus one of Man Utd/Chelsea (depending on how soon Mourinho/Van Gaal gets sacked)

So you're predicting that one of Chelsea or United will miss out on the top 4 this season and Liverpool will also finish top 4?

To the bet thread.............

There's time for things to change, but that's what the evidence so far supports

I sense a soft spot on here for Arsenal. Do the Gooners feel the same way about you? Would they prefer Liverpool to win the League ahead of anyone else except themselves.

Not from me. For some it's probably because we have no proper recent rivalry with Arsenal. Utd is self-explanatory, we had the CL matches with Chavs, the 'ghost goal' and all the other acrimony, and with City people don't like them bcos of the money and a feeling they've bought their way to the top. Plus we were fighting the latter two for the title in 2013/14.

League tittle is not done and dusted: New caste were 15 points ahead of United once around January and United won the league.
It's going to be difficult for City, Arsenal or United not to win the league in 2015/2016.

I think our next 3 games are at home (all comps) and all are winnable - important to get some wins under the belt to help boost momentum, combined with the natural improvement I expect to see with more tactical structure Klopp will implement.

Those prices seem about right to me.

I'd be very surprised if any of Cty/Utd/Arse didn't make the top4 and in spite of Cheslea's shaky start they have a proven squad and manager. Plus there is another transfer window.

Of the other contenders, The injuries are a blow for Liverpool, Spurs lack enough real quality and i'm not convinced the other teams can sustain their challenge. I'd of said that Everton offer value (they usually challenge when not in Europe) but the ease with which Utd saw them off on Saturday would worry me.

So you can predict this early <whistle>

He has.

With your "to the bet thread" comment, it would suggest you're predicting that neither Man Utd or Chelsea will finish outside the top four. Afterall, if they do then Liverpool will have as much chance as anyone of getting top four in their absence.

I made no prediction, I merely thought his prediction was very bold given the current state of play and what previous history tells us about the CL credentials of both clubs. Not satisfied with that, he picked their replacement to boot i.e. Liverpool. If I were to challenge the accuracy of his prediction then the odds would be in my favour. You should understand the difference between making a prediction and laying a bet.............
