Must say I'm very happy that Klopp isn't wearing a baseball cap today. Top class manager.

Klopp has a chalenge on his hands all right and no mistake, but overall I was pleased with the effort in that half. The problem was we kind of ran out of steam

  9. Good first 10-15mins again followed by the usual dross. Least the players are working hard and fighting.

Skrtel is very hit & miss so far. Moreno & Sakho have been good

    Good points:

    We are more organized.

We are hunting down in packs

We are playing the ball to players feet whether they are marked or not rather than standing on the ball waiting for a player to get free.

    Bad points:

Some of ours players aren't intelligent enough. Or quick of thought.

We have absolutely no attacking threat.

Not sure the fitness is there yet for Klopp's pressing game. Some of them look shattered already!

Shame having to start with Origi but let's not crucify him yet.

Migs is saving the game for us. Our Centrebacks are too slow on the pivot. Game could go either way.

We seem to be pressing more when they have the ball, under Rogers as soon as we lost the ball the entire team backpedaled.

Still think it will be next season before we can begin to judge Klopp as he is stuck with Rogers purchases and a big injury list.

As regards Sturridge I would rather have a less good striker who is fit than him injured all the time.

Another observation: spurs one of the most in form clubs. To be so injured against an inform club at home and have clean sheet is not bad.

He's been slow on pivot too. Not as slow as Skrtel but he's had the ball knocked past him too.

Sounds like a mix of Good and bad. Origi is a very good player until he has to finish a coach should be able to work on that. If you're a poor finisher then to have to concentrate on hitting the ball clean and just smash everything.

a 6/10 half. started well, hit the bar but didn't maintain control and let Spurs back into it. they had a couple of great chances but, thanks to Mings. we kept them out. I want to see the next half as commited as this one. and take control.

It wasn't going to be easy today against Spuds as they have a good home record this season. Awful list of injuries we have and we have no scorers unless we rely on Coutinho who has been quiet so far. Lallana has been awful, Milner has been reckless, Skrtel has been the usual suspect...if we can keep them out I see that as a result. Someone has poked Migs awake with a ****ty stick. He's done well so far but the defending still makes me nervous as ****
