A GPS can update in a matter of seconds in live time by triangulation using microwave signals from geostationary satellites. Nothing to do with set points. Speed cameras do that but not GPS's

Have used them professionally and personally from the moment they were made available for civilian use and long before they were used for cars. Also used to sell them as a Cotswold Outdoor manager. There are loads of misconceptions about them out there. To be fair to you what you said isn't anywhere near as bad as some of the total guff I've heard over the years.

Hanging a shirt out the window is still my favourite.

If that is the case then how can they be used for altitude measurements by mountain rescue teams and aeroplanes. It's all about the software and that can be included in the firmware they come out the factories with. I can understand the physics your using to come to that conclusion but it's totally not applicable and just wrong. Not trying to dig you out or anything, just trying to explain it's not relevant.

No I am right. 100%. As an ex mountain rescue medic, Sgt Instructor in Navigation for the T.A and outdoor shop manager it was my job to know these things and teach it to others. :emoticon-0100-smile

That looks a lot better than I expected. Did she have to get the wheels arches adapted? Has she had it lowered as well?

I'm thinking the wheel arches were rolled from the inside and the suspension adjusted. The super low profile tyres allowed for the larger rims. I thought it looked good but was a bugger to ride in. It felt every blemish on the road.

I always though that flashing anywhere would scare the locals! The brown mac brigade scare the pants of me. (See what I did there? lol.)

Yes Swords, although l wouldn't mind an upgrade. It's starting to creak & groan a bit.
It's a bit like me, not that old but had a hard life!
