All depends on whether it's a complete tear or partial, what other damage is done around the knee etc.

Being so young you'd think he wouldn't have any old injuries or damage in the area and being so fit in the first place will all help.

Unlike a striker he's not going to need explosive pace so....

The treatment is way ahead of where it was only a decade or so ago, he should be able to return without it damaging his game.

A real shame for the lad, who'd done really well playing out of position on the wrong side of the defence under Todgers, but you could see he had plenty of ability.

Hope we get compo from the FA and that they let up sign a replacement outside the window. Otherwise it's Moreno being caught out of position and turning his back on crosses.

If it does take an edge of his pace it shouldn't matter to much the lad is a centre back. Such bad luck for him though he's been brilliant.

So Rodgers kept Gomez, and let Manquillo go and Ilori and Wisdom out on loan.

We only have 7 fit defenders at the club which consists of Kolo, Lovren, Enrique and Skrtel.

    Awful squad management.

    Wish Joe a speedy recovery.

  8. Works fine for me too but I suppose it would do.

I logged out to check but of course, non-registered users don't see the signatures anyway. So, I tried using my alternative account and I couldn't see the signature using that one despite being on the same PC.

Does the one you see have Klopp in it?

Gomez wasn't brought in to be a regular starter this year and was probably going out on loan until he put in decent performances pre season and got given a chance.

Skrtel, Sakho, Lovren, Toure, Gomez. That's 5Cbs, can't really have any more than that.

  14. Yep, that's the current one. Wonder why only selective people can see it then. Could be something to do with being a mod I suppose

When you think he was playing 5 at the back you could include Ibe in the RWB role as well, he had enough players for his system.

    Klopp might love Enrique.

Enrique was solid under Dalglish and decent in Rodgers first season.

Either way - those players simply aren't good enough. Hoping Klopp brings in some quality in January.

  18. It's a clean slate for everyone so Enrique comes back into contention now. Can't say I'm disappointed either tbh, he's better than Moreno imo

Benteke and Ings both injured, and half a fit Sturridge.

    Great <doh>
