Old Supporter 9/1 Punchestown 4:50 - probably best known for his jockey being held up by a passer by when pulling up lto, if he can jump better today he should take a fair bit of stopping. Colm's Dream romped home that day but Old Supporter slammed that rival prior to that race and meets him on even better terms today so he rates a solid chance for Denis Cullen to double up today.

Question to you Irish lads - any news on Defy Logic? Are we likely to see him race again after he missed the whole of last season?

Shout ste <ok> Old Supporter got smashed in the betting but didn't want to know!

Shield is becoming frustrating for punters, seems to get well backed each outing and falling short of expectation.

Punchy 4.50-Colms Dream win 7/2. Jumped like a stag when running out a convincing winner lto at Roscommon. The handicapper has put him up 9 lbs for that victory but I don't think that will be enough to stop him going in again plus the opposition doesn't look to convincing to me.
Boom,lovely jumping,been a good week so far

Haha think I'm in the clear Oddy,I'll use zebrahead just as my porn name going forward!

Seriously hope Barney gets a double G & T tonight once the minions have served him up his 3 course supper...the enigmatic West Wizard is being taken from Seven Barrows to be trained by Twister <yikes>

Expect the phrase 'perfection cannot be improved upon' to appear in the great man's views on this <laugh>

No 3 course supper or GnT, I’m afraid. When I heard this news my monocle fell out and the only thing on the menu was the hasty application of the smelling salts.

To use a footballing analogy West Wizard moving from Seven Barrows to Nige Twiston-Davies is akin to dear old Theo Walcott being transferred from The Arsenal to Chippenham Town! I’m sure the ‘transfer’ came about because Mr Henderson suggested to his old pal, the 11th richest man in Wales, that perhaps a change of scenery would benefit the old boy. Upon hearing such wonderful and totally unselfish advice the 11th richest man in Wales would, I believe, have promptly slapped him on the rump (West Wizard not Hendo), and proclaimed, ‘You’re off to Twister Towers’.

I’m sure the horse had mixed emotions upon hearing this. Devastation that he was leaving Seven Barrows but total relief that he wasn’t off to the Pipe’s – another yard that the 11th richest man in Wales patronises.

Going to be very difficult for West Wizard from here on in though, people, because as we all know, you can’t improve upon perfection.

Anyone for SWASHBUCKLING? Been put up both times he's ran and has ran well on both occassions without getting his head in front. Is today the day I wonder. At 6/1 could go ew but I'm going for a win today. Runs in the 3.35 Nottingham.

I haven’t been monitoring it, but have certainly noticed, the huge number of times this horse gets chalked up as a non-runner. Happened again yesterday! Connections seemingly will only run him when everything is in their favour.

They may not have Swashbuckling for long though as I note he is in the Tatts ‘Horses In Training’ sale later this month.
