I would bring your attention to The Dark Night Returns by Frank Miller where Batman gives the big blue boy scout a sound whipping. “You're beginning to get the idea, Clark. We could have changed the world…now…look at us…I've become a political liability…and…you…you're a joke. I want you to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who beat you.”
Don't read comics.... I saw the fight between Arrow and Flash in Season 3 of Arrow, when Flash was possessed or some **** right?
I wasn't referring to that fight, I'd forgotten about that one. I was meaning the training fights where Arrow set traps and caught The Flash whilst he was still a novice #bullinachinashop
Yeah, in fairness there though, as you pointed out, Arrow had had years of combat training on that island and had been fighting crime in Starling City for 2 years. Where as at that point, the Flash was just some science nerd who could all of a sudden run really fast and had probably never been in anything more deadly than a playground scuffle up until that point.
The latest in the series was released yesterday, think it is number 7 or 8, I have had it on order for a year.
Vicky's male gay friend called in at mine whilst I was at the Cheese last night. He made us his second user on Netflix, so I've got it free I decided to watch the second new Star Trek film last night. Got to about 15 minutes from the end and the internet packed up Anyway, there's a new router on the way which should sort the problem. Can someone tell me what goodies I can access on here. Never seen The Wire, Breaking Bad etc. Cheers in advance. There did appear to be an awful lot of **** on there.
Put on Trading Places last night, after about 20 years i think. Pretty sure it was uncut and had scenes werent there before. What a brilliant film. Work of genius and perfectly cast. Eddie Murphy used to be so funny. Turned to **** by the end of the 80s sadly.
I think 48 Hours, TP, and Beverly Hills Cop were his 3 best films. Add to that Coming to America and Bowfinger, and really there's only 5 good films he starred in. Shame really, the scripts let him down in everything else.
+1 for Eddie Murphey used to be funny a long time ago but has been carp for decades. Still occasionally watch his newer movies hoping he won't be carp again. "Donkey" isn't bad, only good role he's had this century. I'm sick of all superhero shows. Haven't enjoyed one in many years.
In case anyone hasnt seen it yet I found Fear the Walking Dead free to view on www.fear-walking-dead.com Have to say not sure I like any of the characters like I do in TWD. Just not hooked me enough tbh.
I thought it was alright and it was just character / plot building. Expecting the second season to be better
What is it with US adverts. They are insane. There's one about a mouse killing device. Has them firing mice out of cannons and stuff
