If you're bored it might be interesting to see Serbia and Portugal come together this afternoon at 17.30 [I think, so do check], at least for 20 minutes or so. It will involve Cedric directly taking on Tadic, plus Fonte will almost certainly feature. Also of interest will be how Chelsea players Matic and Ivanovic play alongside Tadic who only recently helped trounce them at club level.
Tadic was played into a position to shoot. Fonte came over and tackled him, deflecting the ball high over the goal and Dusan fell over Jose. He looked at the ref, made some gestures, looked up at Jose, smiled and took Jose's hand to help him back up.
Typically, the cameras see through the rain because it is out of focus, but it can't hide from the pitch-side microphones. The commentary sounds like a dust caked vinyl record. Must be horrible to play in. You never quite forget being cold and soaking wet while playing matches. Yuck.
I've worked out it must be Danny Higginbotham who is co-commentating. He's made quite a few references to Southampton, especially WGS at Saints. Tadic and Tosic are pulling the strings at the moment.
Serbia looking like it's when they will score, not if. Jose's playing well in defence, but he's got some crap around him.
Yep. Stand down people. And Fran especially. Keeper is hobbling. Jose's starting look better. Tadic is fine in all this, despite being a target for fouls. Full-time.
