You're missing the fact that he would have selected the two to choose from in the first place. He selects, they all have a chat about the candidates over a cup of tea and a kit-kat and he decides from those left which he wants.

Ideally this is true. Ive not heard anything suggesting xfer committee is scrapped though. Just he has final say and club won't sell anyone without his blessing.

Rodgers had same conditions placed on him. As Jimmy pointed out, the xfer committee isn't necessarily bad. Also someone else posted an article recently suggestion who were "committee suggested" buys and who Rdogers persuaded committee to buy.

Most of the Rodgers buys were Crap. Most of committee buys were our better players. Nothing to say this is true.

I also think Klopp is a more imposing character. One who will stand up to the committee better. So I'm hopefull transfers will improve.

Until a few Windows have passed though I will have those remaining doubts about if that part of our business will improve.

I agree with all of that.

It's actually quite good that he's come in mid-season so we can see how the players we've got respond to him in terms of attitude, effort, style etc. Had it been summer or January, he may have gone shopping straight away.

Yeah, they don't hold grudges about maybe why they left the club and they still have the club's best wishes at heart.
Did you see the presser today? Klopp: it's not what people think of you when you join a club, it's what they think of you when you leave.

Very wise words and thankfully we've had that both ways i.e what we think of players who've left [I can only think of 3 atm who left not in the best way] and what they think of the club after leaving <ok>

Still no hat. Looking good. W
Getting the advantages of Klopp without the disadvantages of a baseball cap.
Think of all the extra income though from cap sales <laugh> Everywhere you go you'll see people wearing red baseball caps using that international greeting 'Klopp'
