Radio says weekend talks with a decision on Monday. How can they talk about a managers intended signings when he's not even the manager yet. Do the press really think that we would believe that he would release such talk in their direction at this stage of events.

Absolutely - all bullshit paper talk. He might want Nolan but there is no way that the papers know this one way or another. Pretty sure the Mirror (I know) said we were signing him in August anyhow and that never happened either

Is this the same press that claimed we'd sign emile hesky every transfer window Steve Bruce was in charge?

Probably is all press **** crack but if Nolan ever did sign then I'm done with the club as long as he's there.
Wont even bother with the radio on match days.

And if he scores a hat-trick against the mags?

He's just a footballer - someone I detest as a person and hated having him against us but not because of his ability - just because he's a ****! Just saying billy that a player should never force a cut off from a 30+ year affiliation. If they'd taken on Harry Redknapp as manager then I would've hand delivered my season card to Ellis Short and told him where he could stick it - but for Kevin Nolan it's no issue at all - he's not a mag he's a scouser and he's scored a few past us - if he scores a few for us then what difference does it make?

Stop being such a tart, acting like them up the road.
Well that's fair enough & I accept those views but I stand by what I said. Infact I wont even bother looking for the result. <ok>

Don't really care about Nolan myself, he won't get in our side and will be fine as a squad player. He did not get in West Hams side that much last season, he only got a game when others were injured.

As for Sam I think its the best option of the managers available and/or willing to come. I hope it gets sorted soon so we can move on.
