    There is some footy tonight....

Scotland are 1 down to Poland, Ireland goalless with Germany (unlikely to stay that way), Faroe Islands are 1 up in Hungary and Norn Ireland goalless with Greece......if it stays like that NI will qualify......

That's great news for Norn iron, love to see them qualify. Really hope Ireland qualify instead of Scotland too.

Although they are now beating Poland.

Hutton is one dirty bastard, recall he could've been sent off twice in a game for villa at HQ a couple of years ago

Poland v Rep of Ireland on Sunday for the knock out. Playing France in the rugby too that day, it's a helluva day for the fans of the men in green

I have just about recovered from watching the Scotland-Poland match. A real roller-coaster of match and so typical of QPR!

Poland started playing some wonderful football but could not turn it into a clear dominating lead (winning just 0-1), only to concede to a great long range shot literally with the last kick on the stroke of half time (1-1). They then came out in the second half as a totally different team (much worse), made a complete mess of a quick free kick to concede possesion which results in a goal (losing 2-1). After everyone resigns to defeat, they score an equaliser in the 4th minute of injury time with again the last kick of the match (2-2)!

Well done NI, bet Macca is looking down with a massive smile on his face.
Remember him being interviewed after they drew with England to qualify for the world cup what a game he had that night.

Poor old Scots. The only child not invited to the party.

Saying that, I don't really fancy ROI against many of the likely playoff opponents

    Shame isn't it.......<laugh>

Not many fancied Ireland's chances last night against Germany, real backs to the wall job defensively, bit like the Play Off Final...attack v defence......Not sure that many sides will fancy going to the Aviva at the moment as Ireland unbeaten in last 7 games there and have won 3 on the spin going to Poland, so they have a decent chance of an automatic place.....

Will the French authorities be looking forward to thousands travelling there next summer from UK & Ireland, they'll have to cancel all summer leave......

I imagine they probably will. Far less trouble likely to come from the home nations than Italy and Eastern Europe.
