You do like to put words in people's mouths don't you? The 'programming' between reds and blues goes one way [mostly]. As an example, while we all wanted them to win the EL, they can't wait for us to trip up at every turn, every stage, every step - the jealousy knows no bounds <ok> I watch and wait for Martinez to take Everton to a final and win, something which would never, ever be reciprocated <ok>

But that said - no thanks he's not the man for us, we really are a different level whether you accept it or not :p
What is there for them to be jealous of at the minute? Your squad is ****, you don't have a manager and you are below them in the table. They must be incredibly envious!

I have no agenda. I think he's a good manager. He's won an FA Cup with Wigan and gradually built a good team at Everton without spending a fortune. They're also a good team to watch. It's obvious that he has a plan and a system. The same can't be said for other clubs that have spent a fortune to stand still or go backwards.

Everton 5 -> 11 with the club's [HASHTAG]#recordsigning[/HASHTAG]

He hasn't come even remotely close to repeating his cup win, even with vastly more money and better players, proving it was just the players putting themselves in the shop window knowing he'd got them relegated

Read any of the Everton fans forums and you'll see that our fans are almost unanimously in favour of getting rid of Martinez. He has no idea how to react to the fact that his tactics have been exposed by the other teams in the Premier League, and is out of his depth with no idea how to get us out of the mire. He is so arrogant in his belief in a broken system and any other club would have fired this joker after Christmas and brought in someone to add some fire and belief into what is in reality a very good squad, but one who are totally demoralised by being forced to play out of position in a system that plainly is nit working. He's like Nero, fiddling while Rome burned, except in this case, Martinez fiddles as we slip further down the table. Most Evertonians have given up listening to anything the 'king of the positive soundbites' has to say. Martinez must go if we're to have any chance of saving ourselves from the relegation dogfight. It's clear from the players body language that they no longer have faith in their manager, a surefire sign of a disaster just waiting to happen.

Who does that remind you of?

The better managers are used to working in a committee style structure anyway.

It's common practice.
Lol...we'll see. Carragher has confirmed yesterday that ours is a shambles as well as the hierarchy. Klopps already stated he wants full support as choice. Plenty stating he doesn't have it with current management. It'll take some convincing to work with that shower...they are responsible for at least half the mediocre signings we've made.....we'll see.

A fat bloke who is in a relationship with a dog.

and yet you've been Rodgers' biggest fan while he oversaw a shambles.

Disagree - look at the talent in the team; Coutinho, Sturridge, can, Sakho, Moreno, firmino are all committee signings. We have great potential in markovic and illori and origi if they're given a chance. And the spend on these players is not that much.

Now compare to Rodgers's signings - Allen borini Lallana Lovren Benteke, all of whom are very expensive and little value.

What we need is a manager who will work with the committee and trust their judgment, and actually show faith in the players instead of playing internal politics and showing favouritism.

That's not to say they're perfect. But it's difficult to prove how good they are when the manager doesn't trust the players they have signed.

I mean his "friends" have already stated he wants complete control over football matters.

He left a club that continually sold what he built from under him.

And he's going to say yes to a veto in place from people who have just proven over three years they don't know what they are doing? Unlikely me thinks.

And of Klopp dint accept it I doubt Ancelotti who is used to getting who and what he wants will either.

You simply can't have a committee system that fails and pass the buck to the one guy you sacked. Goes against the entire point of the system.

If they remain inflexible be prepared with Rodgers Mark 2

Relevant to Martinez's credentials how?
because as ever you slate one manager while shooting your load over Rodgers who was borderline incompetent by the time he was sacked. It's why you lack credibility and are considered a tool by the majority of posters on this forum, including many of the Liverpool posters!

All based on this daft notion that there was this wild card Rodgers could insist on one player without veto but not another. Any player that came to us did because the committee agreed to them as a unit. To believe otherwise invites the same lack of clarity and accountability we've seen these last three years...more years of fans making **** to to fit their own theories because there's no clarity of structure and responsibility in place.

Carragher laid it out clear enough yesterday...I believe him before I'd believe this "sources said" ****e we be suffered for years....

So the point is you don't believe me when I say Everton finished 11th last season?
