    @bow4fowler*

Agree on Klopp, not 100% on him. Ancelotti has done it around Europe, it would be a fantastic appointment. Klopp is a risk, sometimes a manager and team can just click and I think that was what happened at Dortmund but no way to know until he takes another job.

It was carrick mate, he was oblivious. Along with Wayne and Memphis (who's been off for a few games, time for a rest).

    I bet you didn't notice carrick playing. I didn't.

The BFS thing is funny though.

Once old man Bastian rampaged forward Carrick was overrun on the counter, it also left Young defending a ****load of space on his own. Young is not a defender after all. <doh>

I hope to **** we get the Italian rather than the german.

    or Tim sherwood :bandit:

Former Middlesbrough forward Jan Age Fjortoft claims that Klopp will be the next Liverpool manager.

This follows reports in the Bosnian media that Zeljko Buvac, Klopp's assistant at Dortmund, travelled to Liverpool on Sunday for talks with the club.

City are heading for 85 points currently which is pretty much standard for the top side. They were pretty unfortunate against West Ham too as they totally battered them but nothing fell their way. Whilst Crystal Palace might not be the side you expect to be 4th, they're setting the kind of pace that gets you 4th as it's usually points in the high 60s or low 70s that get you 4th.

I know you haven't been great but it's far from terminal and at this stage of the season one loss/win can make a huge difference in terms of where you're positioned. it's less than a quarter of the season gone and you're getting rid of your manager. My main point is that he should either have been let go in the summer or been given the backing to see things through until January, provided you weren't struggling really badly.

Now some poor sod has got to take over a side with 2 decent centrebacks, 1 winger, 1 defensive midfielder and about 10 forwards who either want to play up front or as a number 10. I don't fancy their chances of turning that into a top 4 side this season.

That's because Carrick could barely move. If schn starts, or even Herrera in Carrick's place, different game.

    We lose 2-0 :bandit:

Next fixtures for the new manager:

    Spurs (A) - League
    Rubin (H) - Europa
    Saints (H) - League
    Bournemouth (H) - Carling Cup
    Chelsea (A) - League

Some tricky games there... 2 cup games look nice for manager to get his (or her <whistle>) eye in, but league games could be tricky.

Saying that, I'd rather start with harder ones where expectations may not be as high and the honeymoon period may help.

It's not just the league though... 2 draws in Europe... a draw in the cup against L2 side... 1 win in 9... take out the first 2 results of the season and things aren't peachy.

Some ex players said the club should have given Rodgers more time.

The only question you should be asking Tactics Tim is "when can you start?" <whistle>

Has Curbishley been on SSN yet to throw his hat into the ring?

No point sacking Rodgers unless the transfer Comittee is scrapped. No top class manager is gonna want to come unless he has full control of transfers, otherwise we're just gonna end up with a mini Rodgers like Gary Monk

  18. Klopp would be entertaining in interviews etc too, he doesn't give a ****. Ancelotti is boring and gives textbook answers.
