... look vital before our run of very difficult games against some of the top teams.

If we can win two of them, we'd have either 15 or 16 points from 10 games, and it would start to look like we might even stay well clear of relegation worries all season.

One win and two draws wouldn't be a disaster, especially if the win was at Newcastle and kept them firmly in the bottom three.

    Feeling nervous, but hopeful.

I quite agree SC that 5 or more points would be good reward over the next 3 games, as the November games look very tough.
I see we're doomed today according to Lawro's predictions - Norwich have been decent at home since they were turned over by Crystal Palace on the opening day.
I think they will tear into the Foxes, and I fancy them to beat them.

He just wants to niggle Lineker! <laugh> Agree about the next 3 games, though, as all are winnable. We've worked hard to get two away points and it'd be great to keep our unbeaten run going until Man City away, though I have no doubt AN will have a cunning plan for that one when it comes!

I mentioned on another thread that I see today's game particular as a bell-weather game. Win and we go equal on pints with the high flying Foxes, lose and the good work of recent weeks gets reigned back. We are playing well and scoring well and if that continues we will be fine.

I like the 'equal on pints' bit, Thurnby, but I know what you mean and 8 games in the indicators brgin to be more significant.

So easily done mate and I do it a hell of a lot!
My spelling and grammar is pretty reasonable (I think) but when I type e-mails at work I make the same stupid errors over and over such as typing yuo and fo for you and of. Thnak is another one, I think one hand is simply quicker than the other!

Wasn't sure where to put this (didn't think it warranted a new thread):
Apparently Wes is injured and unavailable for Ireland's game gegen Deutschland. :(

He did get crocked in the first half on Saturday - so much so that Redders was stripped off and on the touchline ready to come on. He recovered well though although his recovery wasn't quite as remarkable as Vardy's who was half-dead one minute and then bouncing around like a spring lamb seconds later.

Though there was much to admire about Leicester, Ranieri seems to have brought the European 'playacting' to the UK. I know others do it, but Vardy clearly faked the foul for the penalty and Clattenberg bought it. The 'injury' was even more farcical as you say OCF. I found myself looking to see whether he limped with the same leg after the jumping around bit.
