well at least he's scored afterwards so the confidence won't be knocked too much

I see. So your whole opinion on his penalty ability is based on the way he looks rather than his actual record?

Kinell. And you wonder why people are disagreeing.

Swanny and Burnsy think it has been the best first half of the season.

Not at the game so have no idea myself.

Yeah? Perhaps unsurprisingly Swanny says it's the best 45 minutes we've played this season. What the **** do you know? ;)

We could do without this 'debate' between you and Quill?

I used to love taking pens me, always surprised when pros miss especially the nominated takers- the easiest way to get on the scoresheet and half the time the keepers do the work for you if you delay slightly

I haven't looked into the exact figures, but I'm pretty sure we've played Forest about a thousand times at the City Ground in our history, and won every time.

My previous comment was intended as my last to him, so I'm not continuing.

If Ian Davidson came from the Goole area I played with him for Goole BRSA.

Both CBs being on yellows already is a slight concern.

If you are right footed you shouldn't hit the ball to the right unless you blast it with your instep. Proschwitz side footed the ball which means you have to open up your body and the goalkeeper knows which way to dive.
Some players wait until they see which way the goalkeeper is diving and tap it to the other side. It means you have to be good at making a last fraction of a second decision.
Lambert blasted the ball - usually very near the post to the left.
Whatever technique you have you should take a lot of penalties every week so you are confident of being able to do what you want.

Burnsy: "he shouldn't be let anywhere near the club after last time taking it to the brink of non-existence"

    He's right!

    This.

Just when we thought Patty had ****ed off, it seems as though he hacked into someone else's account.

As a goalkeeper, you're taught to make a decision and go for it. You don't have time to work out which way the striker is going. If you go one way and still extend your legs and keep it out, it's a good save. A striker opening their body up doesn't mean anything, what if they're feigning? How high are they going to hit it? Low and hard or high into the roof?

I'd have expected Hernandez to be using the delay technique (last fraction of a second) with his record, I used to retract my foot slightly and send it in another direction, often fell over doing it but always worked
