    Arsenal and Chelsea both lose.

I know we're rivals, but I enjoy seeing English teams do well in Europe - right now, it's a disgrace what's happening.

Feeling generous today...been handing out lots of 'likes' on the arsenal v Olympiakos match thread.

Just popping over to the Chelsea board.

Try winning the league - and only after a qualifying round tie v Borussia Metalurg Kazakhstan or Inter Siberia or whoever

Inter Siberia have a mean defence I hear - Polaski Bearski is a giant.

  9. I've said it before, but Arsenal in the CL have been an utter embarrassment to English football. This year, they are even more dreadful than they usually are. Tonight, what with Chelsea also losing, I feel incredibly soiled.

It’s only fair, when no one in the PL, clearly, is in the same class as Borislav Abacus, Taxidermy and Electioneering.

Has anybody made a case for Alaska being in Europe yet? It's not far from Siberia (although it seems to be at the opposite end of the earth on wall maps, confusingly )

Worth a punt, but I fear The Septics may raise a few objections...

    Blame Spurs for that one.
If Wenger had not been required to field such a strong side in the League Cup,
they may have been able to beat Olympiakos tonight.

I hope not, because there could only be one club playing the Gnome Northern Light three days before Arsenal.

BBC Sport has an online poll for the best summer signing.

    Who voted for Otamendi? <yikes>

Why has the biggest club competition in world football not got goal line technology, lucky city scored with the rebound that was a joke how far over the line that was.

Indeed. The official has one job and he missed it. Utterly pointless role.
