No idea CW. I would be inclined to eliminate Spain and Italy on the basis that they have been dominated by a few teams (I think)
 
Im going to punt for france, i know lyon dominated for some years but other than that i think its been pretty open (i think)
 
Can't be Italy; I've eliminated them <laugh>. Mind you CW didn't comment on that post.

OK. With France and Italy out and having eliminated Spain, and the British teams, and in the absence of any knowledge and logic,my top 3 guesses are as in the list above:

Group A
Germany
Holland
Austria

After that :

Group B
Norway
Sweden
Denmark

etc

Which group is it? <laugh>
 
Im going to try sweden, dont think theyve been dominated too much by one team

Or thinking outside the box a bit, how about ireland?
 
Germany is correct, I think Eire only has about 20 teams throughout the country.

Germany -
In total, 43 clubs have won the German championship, including titles won before the Bundesliga's inception and those in the East German Oberliga. The record champions are FC Bayern Munich with 25 titles, ahead of BFC Dynamo Berlin with 10 (all in East Germany) and 1. FC Nürnberg with 9.
The following 12 clubs have won the Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich (24 titles), Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund (5), Werder Bremen (4), Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart (3), 1. FC Köln and FC Kaiserslautern (2), TSV 1860 Munich, Eintracht Braunschweig, 1. FC Nürnberg and VfL Wolfsburg (1). No club from former East Germany or Berlin has won the Bundesliga.

although my quiz book says its 29 different teams as of 2010-2011
