We've always played quality, entertaining football - some small exceptions (Rodent, Hughton) but in the main we have always been attractive to watch and it is great to see Alex maintain that tradition.
A guy I work with is a Hammers season ticket holder and said we were an attractive side and does not think we will go down - he also said that Wes was the best player to have appeared at Upton Park so far this season and "ran the show".
Looking forward to another entertaining game on Saturday - I'm expecting a goal fest !
It has all the hall-marks of a 4-5 goal thriller OCF. It'll be interesting how Leicester respond after being thrashed at home by Arsenal.
I think it will be 3-2 to us - I would expect a very open, attacking game. Uncle Fester like to get forward and that will suit us.

To be fair, Rick, the scoreline suggests a mauling but LCFC had plenty of possession and attempts. That Jamie Vardy is a handful and will give our back line a stern test - bring it on! Looking forward to it already!
I only saw the highlights, Cromer, but I have been impressed by Leicester this season. I'm less convinced by their defence, but I suspect that the game will be won or lost in midfield, though some clinical finishing would help as well.
Excellent post RER and it would be great if we could beat the keeper more often. The stats from Saturday (and in all our games) were very impressive.
Interesting that Leicester had exactly the same shots stats at home as we did at West Ham (16/7ot). Arsenal had 27/12ot and 58% of the possession whereas we had 56% at West Ham which is pretty amazing. As you say though, RobRoy, we need to make our chances count.

KIO, it was quite funny the first twenty or thirty times, but now it's fast approaching a million times and is even being used on twitter by someone with an agenda, I'm getting rather pissed off with it!

That AN piece is great. I would much rather risk getting relegated and see us play open, attacking football. I remember Blackpool doing exactly the same thing and almost surviving. We are a better side than they were and I think we will survive comfortably this season. We just need another Holt.
I find it odd that people keep saying we need another Holt. Much as I loved the big man, AN's lone-striker approach wouldn't suit him any more than CH's did. Holt thrived on Lambert's devil-may-care diamond formation which sometimes worked and at others failed completely. With the exception of Hooper, all of our present strikers suit AN's approach far more than Holt would.
I dunno, I think Holt could very easily hold his own in this team (In his prime). I'm sure he was played up front on his own a fair few times in the Prem under Lambert.
He was like a far more likeable Costa. Doesn't look like much but he ruffled feathers, held the ball up, got others involved in the play and can run the channels. Frankly he sounds like the perfect striker for this team to me. Add to that the way he chases every ball and he'd fit right in!

IMO, I favour RER's more and agree that the original GH wouldn't fit much with our current formation/style. I'm quite surprised that the current GH didn't move in the transfer window and I can really see him being at least loaned out in January, but he has scored some vital goals for us.
Holt's principal reason for leaving CR was that he didn't like playing as a sole striker. He suited Lambert's approach, which was designed for him and for Wes, but he would never suit AN's approach or be happy playing in it. Part of AN's focused approach is that he doesn't change it to suit the players, the players change to suit it or they are changed. He's achieved that very quietly, but very deftly all the same.
But Blackpools approach was almost suicidal, with little thought, or ability, to defend. AN has a much more rounded approach to playing attacking football than Holloway seemed to have.
