The manager sacking odds are weird. How come Pellegrini is so safe? Their performance in Europe was abject yet again and now after a defeat to Wet Sham his odds surely should be lower than AN's. Also, Ranieri is 33-1 for a side who until last game were second!
Makes no sense to me at all, probably as well that I am not a bookie, I would probably be potless by Thursday!

Yeah it's about people betting rather than true likelihood.

I see Spurs are beating Man City 3-1, with three of the goals clearly offside! Officials having a 'mare, though the result should be right with the one legitimate goal from Spurs

Incidentally, nasty injury to Callum Wilson I here, and an unfortunate loss to Stoke. Bournemouth getting no luck whatsoever, though obviously it is good news for us.

Plus, it increases the likelihood of another Grabban bid in January...

They've lost both their record signings to long term knee injuries, and now their top scorer stretchered off with a knee injury too, dreadful luck.

Newcastle lead at Chelsea.

Should not laugh BUT <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

It is quite widely believed that Bournemouth, and Wilson in particular, were guilty of feigning fouls in the penalty box last season. Not proven I know but perhaps this is some kind of Karma.

As for another bid on LG - Go for it, get rid.

So, from a city perspective, who do we want to win this afternoon's game (Watford v Palace, both currently level with us on 9 points) and tomorrow night's (West Brom {8} v Everton {9})?
I'd guess Watford and West Brom are more likely to struggle over the course of the season, so maybe away wins in both fixtures would be best for us?

Yeah, no point looking at it compared to the current table, but instead based on where those teams will end up. Palace and Everton wins please.

Much as I'm liking us being mid-table, I'm as keen to see a bottom three start to get cut adrift. Hopefully that's starting to happen with Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Yes, I'd like West Brom and Watford to lose. Everton and Palace will finish way above us.

One down, in terms of results from today and Monday.

For finding Bournemouth injuries funny. I feel gutted for them. I like them, I think they are like us. As you would think more of an underdog in terms of size of club, where they came from, and us having resonant Prem spells. Though, in terms of the way they walked our league and we were 3rd best team. It probably evens out. Good young players on both, positive, progressive, exciting managers on both. I would love us both to survive. I know Mings is a Scummer, but losing 3 massive players for them already is really horrible for their first ever Prem season. The fans must be devastated. If they lose Richie to injury, they are really going to struggle now.

To have £14m worth of signings, plus your top scorer out, is incredibly bad luck. I can't find it funny either. I dread to think how we'd get on if Bassong, Brady and Hoolahan were injured long term (to randomly pick three important players).

I don't think we should worry about others, if we play to our potential in most matches we won't need to rely on others faring badly! <ok>

Couldn't agree more!!! If we keep playing the way we have done in the last 3 games, we should easily finish mid table!!! <ok>

The boy is confirmed out for 6 (six) months minimum - along with Mings (8) and Gradel (6).
I wouldn't wish 'luck' like that on any team, never mind a 'plucky little' outfit like Bourne Mouth.

God that's horribly unlucky. I was hoping he might get an England call for a friendly.
