My apologies to those of you that don't waste your hard earned on QPR Player HD

His body language has gone and he looks all lost at sea. He fails to make eye contact.

'Houston, we have a problem ... '

I was working this morning so saw nothing of this game
a kind friend texted me to let we know we were lucky to get nil
are we really so bad we cant get enthused for a local derby
what happened 9s

I think part of the problem is he was the 'caretaker' when TF tweeted he'd found his 'dream manager', when that obviously fell through he got the job, so there isn't the spark of a new manager coming in and you wonder whether the players have the respect a manager should command.

Certainly some of our signings, frankly, don't look Championship quality and as a team we look very poor. The striker situation now looks critical and with the confidence gone I think we are in deep sh*t...

We are not a cohesive unit. What goes on on the training pitch? Also, painfully slow in our build up play. Phillips' form has taken a huge nosedive following the closure of the transfer window. Chery is a bad egg based on last night's strop. Worst defence in years. Henry is playing down the clock on his career. I could go on but where would I stop.

The thing that really gets me is that there is never any mention of his job being under threat. His record is so bad he should be under serious pressure.

Maybe he realizes that he has run out of excuses.
If he can show no direction, what hope have the team got.
The writing is on the wall, just hope TF looks out the window and reads it.

This wasn't just a 'one off result' ............. our defence has always been shot, in previous matches,
we were just lucky the forwards scored to win us some games.

I have no expectation of our team being promoted .............. never have for this season but I DO expect
our manager to get the team working as a group for a concerted push next season.
My problem is, I can't see that happening. The guy is out of his depth and needs to be replaced, sooner rather than later.

I have always been in the pro CR camp and felt given time he could become a good manager.

Sadly, I am very close now to conceeding to all the posters that claimed he would be hopelessly out of his depth.

This is QPR so I shouldnt really be surprised.

What a complete and utter shambles! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Agree. He's got 3 or 4 games max imo to pull us out of this slow sink down the League or fans will lose patience.

I was always of the opinion to give him 10 games. What I'm interested in is the players' reaction to the next game at home to Bolton. If the first half of that is as shambolic as the first have against Forest or at all like last night's capitulation, then CR has to go imo. What I'm not clear about is whether CR is just a puppet with SLF as the puppet master.
I really thought they had sorted it our this time with the 'right sort' but it looks like the makings of another very long season!

Yes, Bolton will be the biggest game so far in CR's short managerial career. A good performance is crucial to him

If we lose at Bolton and perform badly again then they must sack him.

International break after that. Get Pearson in and that gives him 2 full weeks with his players

I really wouldn't want Pearson here!
Presumably if we ship him out Les also has to go, and we get in the grizzly experienced type. Can't think of anyone exciting personally, though Curbishley would at least mean Swords would have to be positive about him. We would probably end up with whoever is sacked from the prem, i.e. Mclaren, even though he is also in the good coach crap manager club.

Les certainly would lose a lot of credibility if Ramsey were sacked.
These players need an experienced manager who knows how to get them playing for each other. Not sure who though.

Pearson can be aggressive and a bully - just like, say, Pardew and even Sir Alex - but they all know their job

I would look at Pearson if I was the QPR board (even if they have to ban his son from entering the ground!).

I like Pardew.
Pearson seems an odious twat to me.

I'd agree with that. He showed himself to be a nasty piece of work when he started verbally abusing journalists last season. Then he couldn't handle it when one of them bit back. He was an embarrassment to his club.

But maybe we need an odious twat to get our players working like they should be working. QPR are currently so embarrassing that Pearson could hardly make our club any more embarrassing, could he?
