I dont think its helping the squad. Certainly not based on results so far. I can see what you are saying and Fergie certainly was the master of it but in this case, i dont think Jose is playing this masterful game of Whits. Not on this occasion.

Just as Jose has got to Wenger, Wenger has also got to him.

Tbh I think we have to wait and see.

After all, since Jose began his latest Wenger man crush Chelsea have won their last two games. Which is as many as they managed in their last six. So if it continues then it will have worked, even if it makes him look like a bit of a twat in the process.

Latest spat? Its been going on for ages this one.

Along the way way he's also brought legal proceedings to Chelsea in an unfair dismissal case.

If he's playing a game, he needs to rethink his tactics.

Be interesting to see how it plays out, what with everyone else being obsessed with Jose <ok>

Think it's backfiring in all honesty. Jose calls Wenger a "specialist in failure", Wenger goes and wins back to back FA Cups. You could say Jose goaded him into winning his first silverware in years.

They're going to end up a couple aren't they. Wenger's wife's already left him and these two bicker like two school kids on love. What a horrific thought, one I support fully of course...

<whistle>

Seriously though Diego, you've made a good point. Has Jose actually made Wenger push himself and his club cumulating in success? That really would be something. If I worked for the press, this would be a question I would ask.

If they wont ask it perhaps we should write a letter to Jeremy Corbyn, he will read it out at PMQT

If that is the case hes upped the game himself pushing wenger into success as jose followed it up with the milk cup and the league

Not really, last time (when he was good) it was back to back titles :emoticon-0100-smile

Jose messed up in that first season back. The title was there for the taking but he was lacking for sure. He can blame his squad but that same squad won the league with ease last season but has bombed at the start of this.

When he's in the mood, it doesn't really matter who he has in his squad. When he's not, the same applies.

He did it on purpose, moaning about little horses was his way of saying he wanted money for Costa and Fabregash <ok>

To be honest it's always been clearly obvious that Jose is obsessed with Wenger. Never really understood, you really don't have to play mind games to beat an Arsenal team that refuses to change its tactics no matter what the circumstances.

I am enjoying Joses press conferences this season, seems to have lost the plot.

There does seem to be something happening in Joses world at the moment that is distracting him. The Newcastle game did see him make subs that had an immediate and positive outcome on the game. That's what he used to do all the time, so good on him for that. But he has been spitting the dummy and grumpy as hell most season. Seems that mood has carried into the team and individuals form. I can"t believe the two are not connected.

It's not a Jose obsession like some are making out, it's pure and simple vengeance for all the "I'm ****ing great" comments from Jose over the years (yes he did say that, probably). I imagine it'll all go back to you winning soon and we'll all wander back tho our boards muttering something like "jammy twats" when you've scrapped a 1-0 in added time.
