.... all is forgiven.

The Club has a goalkeeping Coach, and a striker Coach,(although you wouldn't really think so).

In the wake of yet another Cup exit, perhaps it's time for the Board to bite the bullet, and offer Michael Laudrup the role of Cup winning Coach.

Well,he does have form in that direction, doesn't he ? <laugh>

ML has gone and ain't coming back. Loved what he did for us but it's history. We are where we are and I don't actually blame Monk for the loss midweek. I'm happy to have a pop at him when it's warranted but not here. The team he picked should have won that game easily and with better finishing we'd have been up by 4 at half time. Poor show from the players imo.

Nice afternoon to get the roof down and go for a drive, I was in two minds, but now I'm not!................<laugh>

Vetch - yes Sir Michael won the League Cup.

Unfortunately, Sir Michael could not defend the trophy - knocked out at the first time of asking by Birmingham 1-3 after he also made 10 changes. A certain Wilfried Bony scored a consolation for the Swans in the 90th minute.

So perhaps ML is not the answer! <cheers>

Managers must surely take responsibility when team loses. That should be a given, considering they take the plaudits when they win.
Hull away was never going to be an easy game.
They are having a real go in The Championship.and I hope they make a speedy return to the P.L.
Some on here, the usual suspects, thought it would be a walk in the park. It beggars the question, are the fringe players really up to it ?

Thanks for making the effort to post something sensible. <cheers>

Another boring Friday afternoon in Wherever-you-Live?

Perhaps I'm your neighbour. God,how boring could that be? Having to agree with everything you think/say,and humour nowhere to be seen.
No place in your small world for debate and conjecture.
Such a sad, pointless place to inhabit. <cheers>

I didn't necessarily infer that he was the answer. But he did actually win a Cup,and the usual suspects can't ever erase that. Oh,how they'd love to. <laugh>

Is Beattie the answer when we are not scoring in three successive games. ?

I remember the loss to Brum. Poor performance.

Good to talk to you Taff, You always add a touch of class to the proceedings.

See you on the word game. <laugh>

Vetch - I will always be grateful to ML for being the Manager under whom we won the League Cup.

Similarly, I will always be grateful to BR for leading us to the PL .... Period!

That said, he does come across as someone who has believed his own publicity, and if I'm honest, it does bring a smile to my face to see him come somewhat unstuck.

Being Manager of "little old" Swansea is "easier" than being Manager of Liverpool.

You sell ML short there Taff. He secured top half finish, plus Europa Cup. Ah,those were the days,eh. <laugh>

I will always have a soft spot for Rodgers, bullshit and all. He is what he is.

In fact,I have great affection for ALL our ex Managers, without whose efforts the team wouldn't be where they are.
Monk may well achieve that esteemed status one day,but not just yet. My jury is still out. <peacedove>
