All over Twitter now that Talksport are saying Rodgers will be sacked tomorrow and Ancelotti is coming in. I don't know about the Talksport rumour mill but I know Twitter is full of **** most of the time.

For all the jokes, the animosity, the we've-had-enoughs and can't-take-any-mores it's ****ing sad that it's ended like this, it really is. For all's said and done he gave it his best shot but it wasn't good enough.

That said, certain players should take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror and ask questions of themselves; the scouts should go on a refresher course; FSG should ask themselves if they really want to be in this game or stick to silly girl's rounders

Solid pair of hands if true. This guy won the CL just 2 years ago and knows how to manage players. They loved him at Madrid.

I spoke to my mate earlier. He said it's not if, but when. He thinks a win against Villa and a MINIMUM of a draw against Everton may buy him some time, but he is going. Who will come in is entirely another matter.

Then the only reason he should stay is to get the right guy and the fact his support staff are brand new which I suppose is what's happening. But it should happen as quickly as possible to let him leave with dignity instead of listing from one performance to another...

We won't beat Villa. Although Lovren and Benteke both out might fforce Rodgers to play Ings and Sakho which should help.

I hate this; it's ****ing horrible, a bloody shame for him, but we have to put the club first and he was never on a par with Shankly, Paisley, Dalglish, Rafa or even Houllier.

Hodgson was easy to bin off; Rafa I cried over; Dalglish I wept; and I'm bitterly sorry for Rodgers. He had an idea, a dossier, but it wasn't right. It didn't work. His tenure with us can at least go on his CV, not many can claim that. <ok>

I can't help it; it's painfully sad! It's not the end of an era or any **** like that, but he believed in what he was doing and he must feel shattered and bitterly disappointed; what he couldn't see was that it was all bollocks. He had no plan B and no answers when we needed them. It's been like that from the first season and it was Suarez who kept him employed season before last.

People say Rafa had no plan B, but he did. That's why he hasn't got more kids.

Seriously though, he had a plan B. A plan C and a plan E. (never a plan D).

Rafa's main fault was the opposite to Rodgers main fault. He was too cold. He expected the players to be robots that always performed at a specific level and was baffled when they had an off night (or 30).

If Rafa and Rodgers could mate they'd produce an excellent new manager.

It was always going to be either - Rodgers raised himself to the stature of the club or he dragged the club down to his level, unfortunately it's been the latter.

Rumours now that FSG may move Rudi Garcia from Roma to Liverpool and sign someone new for Roma.

Big slap in the face to Roma if they do that. Sorry Roma, our other bigger club needs a new manager and yours is Doing well.

Send Brod the other way? [HASHTAG]#nopayouts[/HASHTAG]

Might actually help both teams. Both managers had a good season then ran out of steam a little.

Would rather Ancelotti. Fabio. Klopp. Etc... But Garcia might work. Don't know.

Get Rafa back. He can get Mascherano, Alonso and Torres back too :bandit:
