I don't really know what that means! :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0110-tongu
I wanted to like the fact that Vadis had scored and Cromer beat you to it, then Turner scored and Cromer beat you to it, but my 'likes' are frugally distributed, as we are all in the same room. If the three of us were in the pub together, and Cromer was first to the news and told us, I'd be like, "Yes! Cromer! I like that". If seconds later, you told us the same news, I'd be like, "Forget_My_Lines: Cromer beat you to it. Buy us more beer". It's like that, it's just the way it is.

Haha. Right, so basically you are saying you are tight! ;)

If I was a Newcastle Fan, and saw my manager grinning and smiling the whole way through his postmatch interview, I've be spitting venom! What is he playing at?!

After the shocker he had at the weekend at Chelsea v Arsenal, the FA in their infinite wisdom have seen fit to give Mike Dean another match right away, and of course it's our one. Where he'll no doubt be looking to make a big impression. Thanks for nothing, FA.

I'll admit that the Chelsea game was a shambles, however generally I've seen Mike Dean as one of the better referees.

He was very good in the playoff final.

Yes, sorry, that's true - I wasn't clear. I just meant that I think in any other job if someone makes an obvious mistake, even someone good, you normally give them a little time out just to get their confidence back, keep them out of the public eye etc. in any football match, the last person that people want to focus on is the referee at the end of the match, so having them the talking point at the beginning is clearly ludicrous.

But the FA have this policy of absolutely refusing to accept the referees have made any mistakes and in this case I think it leaves Mike Dean himself in a worse position, unfairly. I might be wrong, but I suspect he'll be desperate to restore his reputation and I just don't think that's the right mindset for a referee.
