I would say this would take the game runner ages to do calculating everything out but seeing that Biscan has nothing to do all day long but chat on this thread i'm sure he'd love to do it

As Astro said, C&P from one site and that's what we're allowed to use. Plenty of time to think on this anyway as it wouldn't be until next season.
Someone ran a game last year were all we had to do was pick one winning side from the ten PL fixtures each week. If you failed then you were out. I think the game lasted about four weeks
Simplicity is best. Make the win/lose/draw based on betting odds. For goalscorer make it simpler.
2 to 1 for a striker.
4 to 1 for a midfielder.
6 to 1 for a defender.
100 to 1 for a goalkeeper.
But adjust the odds for specific individuals in rare circumstances (like we get another Suarez).

that's effectively what we do now but with points. Much better using proper odds. Just predicting a Liverpool loss wouldn't gain much so to get a step on others you would have to do something else to boost it.

I think would have to do it so that can only bet on scores up to 3-3... Otherwise you get too many permutations.

Yes. But I think if you switch to odds for every single player you're making things way too complicated for Biscan.
Just use the William Hill (or whoever) for team win/lose/draw. Make scorer simpler.

Scores would be easy to C&P. It's other things such as combo's that would need to be eliminated. Bet on the game result or scorer, but not a combined bet. People could opt to split their money and do both but they'd need to be treated as separate bets to avoid it getting too complicated.

Or people can post their bet and provide a link to where they got it from. Biscan (or whoever) merely as to record it then
Think that would be easiest to sort out. The odds (which change all the time) taken the week before with a W/D/L. F the scores and goalscorers etc.

You bet on W/L/D. (up to £10). Earn reward based on odds at time IBWT creates thread.
You get £1 just for posting a bet.(to help people not go to £0.
Also. You don't bet on Scorer/Score but receive a fixed bonus. £1 for getting home team goals correct. £1 for getting away team goals correct. Or £5 for getting both home and away correct.
£5 for getting scorer right.
That way if you lose all your money betting you have a way back into the game with the fixed money part.

To be fair. I always predict we'll lose now. That way I'm not disappointed when we achieve a draw.
