Costa plays exactly the same as he did in Spain and all other teams hated him then.
He has not got any worse since playing for the scum and Jose is delighted with his antics.

Costa, Chelsea and Moriniho are all perfectly suited to each other......deeply unpleasant.

MOTD cohorts wouldn't dare criticise him due to their big club bias......

And therein lies a problem, 'safe' pundits who make sad excuses instead of having the balls to call Costa what he is, a dirty cheat...

You beat me to it. No wonder Shearer doesn't criticise him, he wasn't any better, one of the dirtiest players to grace the game.
Costa is a pond life. Didn't Shearer get sent off playing against Leicester for doing the bloke near the touchline when England captain then say to the FA that if they banned him for 3 games he would not play for England again? Or is it early and I am talking *rap.

I remember the incident, he completely wiped out the Leicester player as you say on the touchline for no apparent reason. What happened in the aftermath though I can't remember.

Imagine if he had done that to Barton? Joey would have done more than gently tap his shin pads.

Joey would **** his pants if he ever came up against Costa - let's analyse this nutter against the names put to him shall we -

Snide - Implies that he hides this away - would suggest on the contrary, he's completely open about his over aggression.
Coward - Again, on the contrary, he seems to only take on the biggest of the other club
Thuggish/Brutish - Yep, and open about it, always has been, oh and you could add a Winner at all costs.

Make no mistake, when Mourinho calls Costa the man of the match, he's right, that was better than a goal, got completely into Arsenal's heads.

Many comments that Costa was exactly the same in Spain, he wasn't, but then he also knew the standard of refereeing was so much better in Spain and couldn't get away with quite as much.

If Costa behaved like that in the street, he would get a ****ing pasting!!

Really? - The man is nuts and built with it too, not many take on anyone that's nuts

Can Roy Keane come out of retirement?

Now there's a real snide - shat himself against Viera or anyone else that presented an "equal" challenge.

Posted on this on the rugby World Cup thread, because the contrast in behaviour is so stark. Costa is vile but sadly is an extreme but apt example of what professional association football has become. The fact that they had to have a debate about him on MOTD rather than simply calling him scum sums it up.

Bloody Hell Stan, the Rose has tinted the glasses on this one me thinks, we've seen many a nasty bastard in our time that went to inflict maximum damage - I'm with Col, he's a panto villain and watching all around him let him win with his antics is just hilarious in its predictability.
