I find it so amusing that the minute details of my posts are of interest.

Why do certain folks want to "try prove me wrong"? What do you get out of it I wonder, what sort of satisfaction does it bring to ye.

I have new for you guys, I am wrong about stuff quite often, it's nothing new, I discuss a vast amount of subjects from politics to science and I get a fair bit wrong, due to my ageing brain forgetting a lot of stuff <laugh>

Is it possible the kid could lie to cover his own back? Of course it is. He may we have thought it may be funny, after all, he choose a suitcase to house his clock when he could have chosen an alterative.

Kids have a warped sense of humour and don't always consider the result of their actions. They are also known to tell the odd fib. After all, no kid likes to get in trouble.

As I said. The police have a duty to investigate this. Its how they operate. Its exactly the same over here.

Its not a big deal at all. It just makes a good story if you add a whole lot of outrage and exaggeration into the mix.

I see, so a kid makes a clock.
Brings it to school
Tells his teacher "I made a clock"
It looks nothing like bomb, it has a power cable and nothing that even remotely look like explosives.
His own teacher confirms he never tried to make out it was a bomb.

So how the **** do you come to that conclusion?

Were these from US suppliers or one of Cokes factories around the world. Of course I am assuming in those days, they still had over seas operations (feel free to correct me).

But one teacher didnt see it as a clock initially. That's how all this has come about.

What game would that be? Trying to look at things with a balanced view as possible (we all have our own biases) rather than jumping on a band wagon and trying to spin a story to suit your prejudiced and inflexible ideas?

By taking my opinon and portraying it as me stating it as fact and then challenging it as if I had stated it as fact is playing a game.

i understand how language can be used in such ways quite well being a long time study of Chomsky.

The comment was obviously opinion. By reading it the reader can easily understand it was opinion without a qualification added like "imo"

Didn't realise that was a reply to me, it was not a minute detail, it was in a post that was "laying it out" for someone.

According to the report he was the only Muslim in the class, which is what I said.

When there is a class of non Muslims with only one Muslim in it and there is a hoax call, and the cops show up and say "we knew it was him" what would you assume?
