As for this Muslim thing,
They are no protected people I tell you, on UK media you hear and hear and hear about antisemitism attacks and rarely ever hear about anti muslim attacks.
Yet Anti Muslim attacks happen far more and are increasing much faster.
Muslim kids of 14 are seeing armed polcie show up at their gaffs and snatching up the kids and making them warrants of the courts having committed no crime.

As I have said from the start, this is a pretty fecked up situation but its not quite as clear cut a racist teachers and cops situation as you try make it out to be.

Ask the teacher? and as for truth, it was a clock, you just had to look at it to tell it was not a bomb(especially if you are a cop)

Yes and they did and it was not a bomb and the boy said it was a clock and his teacher backed him up. THEN they took him out in handcuffs

Right now they are protected (if that's the right word, tbh its kind if extreme, like they are an endangered species.) In the sense they are getting portrayed as victims entirely. Of course the vast majority are but we are talking about billions. Even if we are talking even 1% or 0.1 or even less than that that's a lot of crazy people. The same sorts of statistics would apply to every race and religious group. A percentage of people are effectively evil and a threat to all. You can't hide from this.
In the past they have received very harsh coverage in the news. They were, for a long time the go to scape goats along with benefit claimants and the poor. It has come full circle in recent weeks. Its just the media trying to dictate to the masses. I've seen people go from one extreme to the other so many times based on what they read and where they read it.
Calling every Muslim a terrorist is as bad as saying they are all peaceful. I'm not saying you are saying exactly that but the reality is that some are (or are potenyially corruptable) but most aren't. That's just how it is. These statistics that show tiny numbers of deaths from terrorism compared to other factors shows that we are doing something about it. Whether its the right way is very much up for debate but for its working. Yes we have the threats and the occasional attack but in general it's rare. Those fearing mass destruction are going to be relieved and those expecting nothing are going to be shocked.

The police have a duty to investigate on this situation and take whatever precautions the deemed necessary. They seemingly decided quite quickly it wasn't a bomb so didn't feel the need to cause any more panic. By taking the boy into custody they may have felt it was potentially a bit if fun by the lad or a hoax. Maybe they even wanted to scare him a little.
In the end the young lad has got himself in the spotlight and recieved plenty of good publicity. With mentions from the likes of MIT and the President, he's already made waves that will likely see him have a good future.
All on all, a story blown out of proportion jumped on by the outrage brigade, this time anyway.
Next week something will come out and the knuckle draggers will deem all (insert group) a bunch if (insert negative term) because the news said so. Typical.

No mate, stop talking nonsense. The kid always said it was a clock his teacher said that and even the police said that, no one tried to imply it was a bomb least of all the kid, the only person that did that was the teacher who got scared.
