Following two back-to-back defeats, the reds look to bounce back at home to Norwich.
Misery of the loss against West Ham was merely compounded last week as Liverpool lost 3-1 to their biggest rivals. A tight game to start off with, but Manchester United shifted in to gear, scoring early in the second half following a dubious foul, it then proved to be plain sailing for the red devils despite a late Benteke screamer causing some uncertainty around Old Trafford.
The defeat has piled pressure on reds manager Brendan Rodgers, who was already on increasingly thinning ice, and appears a lot of Liverpool fans are starting to turn, one thing is for sure; He can not afford to lose against the Canaries this Sunday or he may be a dead man walking, if he isn't already.
As far as team news goes, Liverpool have Phillipe Coutinho returning from his one game suspension, and though Sturridge has trained with the first team it may prove to be a bit early for a return. Sakho and Lallana may also be attention following positive performances against Bordeaux in the Europa League.
Norwich currently sit above Liverpool in the table, level on points. Anfield hasn't really been a happy hunting ground for the canaries, but with their tormentor Suarez gone and with the uncertainty surrounded the reds as a whole, it may be the perfect time to rectify their past performances.
