It's a good time to play United, Chelsea and Liverpool now as they're still finding their feet. Teams like Newcastle, Swansea, Palace, WHU and others find ways to stop them, so it shouldn't be above us. But we are not much successful against top teams. We take a point or three now and then against Arsenal and United, but when was the last time we saw a win against any of Chelsea, City, Liverpool or Totteham? I don't think we had beaten Liverpool or Tottenham since our return to Premierleague.

Man U (h) - Win
Swansea (h) - Loose
Chelsea (a) - Draw
Leicester (h) - Win
Liverpool (a) - Win
Bournemouth (h) - Loose

I'd be happy with 10 pts

No easy matches in the first five (and the sixth isn't a gimme, either). I'd be pretty pleased with more than seven points, as it's a tougher slate than the five previous.

We beat City in Poch's first season...I know we had several surprising results then. Just checked Player and we took 4 points off Chelsea that season: draw with Nigel and 2-1 win with Poch. And we beat Liverpool in March and September 2013 under Poch.

Although we only lost one out of five, I had hoped to get more points from that first tranche of games before things get more difficult.

I wouldn't say they are much more difficult. You can balance the more difficult teams against more home games.

I'd argue the only massive disappointment in the first 5 games was the 3-0 loss at home to Everton, and they've gone on to beat Chelsea. Other than that we got draws from some tricky away fixtures and a comprehensive win in our only other home fixture.

I know my glass is half full at the moment, must not be drinking fast enough.

Man U (h) - Win (This could kick start our season)
Swansea (h) - Draw
Chelsea (a) - Draw
Leicester (h) - Win
Liverpool (a) - Loss (always bloody happens)
Bournemouth (h) - Win

So 11 points. Easy!

Well yeah, the fact you had to go a couple of years back to find those wins proves my point that it doesn't happen very often.

Very disappointed with 6pts from our first 5 games against Newcastle, Everton, Watford, Norwich and WBA.

These next 6 of course look tougher but the signs are there and with a bit of luck we can get a good return here. I think we can be unbeaten in the home games, it's just away, whilst unbeaten, need more conviction.

Man U (h) W
Swansea (h) W
Chelsea (a) L
Leicester (h) W
Liverpool (a) L
Bournemouth (h) D

10 points .
Get your parachute ready saint kitsch.
