Chaps, Can I ask the above named to carry out their personal attacks on his thread only, please? It means that we can read this if we choose, rather than having to stumble through verbal assaults in so many other threads. Cut & paste away to your hearts content to get this thread up & running, guys, and leave the rest of the threads in peace, please.
Who put you in charge? Not happening, if I am attacked I will respond on the thread it happens on. Become a mod if you want the power otherwise.
I will say just three things to this... 1) There are a lot more people than just myself and Glory who have a gripe and get stuck in with Leeds60 2) Generally a thread plods along and then one of the above mentioned takes it personal with 'Anti Christ' style comments. 3) One member has already commented that his ageing parents can be difficult and always 'right' and that it is bordering bullying etc, very good points that I had already acknowledged. Just the way I see it

Like I said, I had already acknowledged concerns on a different thread, I also forgot to point out that the majority of the "personal attacks" and questions we're being kept to the price of petrol thread, one Eire started to keep the "bullshit" in one place. I had requested several times for the "argument" to be taken back to that thread to keep it all in one place but someone else refused to. Interesting that you state "can read if you want to" and "the rest of us see it as..." Well the read if you want to seems to be winning with 87 page views and counting... I think it best I ignore Leeds60 totally and he does the same with me.
I think I could upset too many even I think I am very outspoken especially if I get attacked by some who will remain nameless but thank you anyway Life

Right ladies. Not going into this in much detail but I'm logging out of this forum and won't be logging back in. It's been a pleasure but I honestly can't stand leeds60 and to be honest I've stopped posting anything worthwhile and it's usually just snipes at him. I may register on another Leeds forum so might see some of you about. Will maybe lurk from time to time. Tara x
Absolute shame rev, but I have had similar thoughts for similar reasons. I'm gonna stick it out a little longer though.
Hopefully the mods will see this and take some appropriate steps.... It's well overdue for the cause to be dealt with and to stop tinkering around the symptoms.
I don't know if either of you (Rev or Hemase) know but Leeds60 has been diagnosed with cancer and we aren't talking within the last few days/weeks. I find his style of writing and his attitude very hard to take, if it wasn't for his illness I would detest the guy, I have come to the conclusion that medication, drinking or mixing the two doesn't help on some of his late night rants and what can only be described as memory loss in regards to some of the threads. I am not sure how I would handle such a horrible illness (and I don't wish to find out), but what I do know is it wouldn't be spent picking fights with everyone on a forum. I find myself torn between trying to make an exception for him and biting at his posts. I guess we are all different, I found myself staying away from the forum more and more when Sheldon was around, he got me really pissed off so I understand where you are both coming from. I am surprised a mod hasn't had a little word in his ear, maybe they don't see it the same way as those he is annoying but to lose members due to others actions is a little sad.
There is an ignore function mate. I have been monitoring the situation and I must admit I've been lenient due to a few factors and this forum is pretty free flowing, we do let a lot of **** slide from all sides which generally makes the place more active. I don't really want to see anyone banned that's a Leeds fan and I understand your frustrations. Just try the ignore function and if it doesn't work out for you send me a pm mate. It would be a shame to lose you. El, you have mail.
Bucks has hit the nail on its head. It's difficult on a football forum. Sarcasm, wit, banter and so on is difficult to diagnose as there is no body language. We don't expect everyone to have the same opinion, or get on for that matter. Some like the banter, other's prefer to concentrate solely on Leeds Utd matters If the behaviour of posters are influencing others to leave, then something needs to change.
