The Vow was blamed for YES losing the referendum

It was in one paper and maybe repeated in the news also

It wasn't a game changer but it's the ammo that's being used for a second referendum

Saying that some promises that are reported as being unfufiled weren't, allegedly, in the The Vow in the first place

I guess nobody read that paper after all

That's fine and its that kind of thing I was looking for when I asked for reasons

    I wasn't getting that

I don't think I've been an arse during this discussion either.

In all seriousness I don't give a **** about Corbyn or Labour. They're done. Over. Finito. Finished.

Labour are free to continue to **** themselves up. Makes no odds to me. They are gone from my country and quite rightly so.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't just in one paper.

Mindy voted No because his pals in the Green Brigade told him to.

"Thon Fat Salmond keeps picking oan us. Let's aw vote naw and Labour'll dae well and we'll have Ed Miliband as PM/"

A year later and the Tory Government are about to steamroller right over the Trade Unions, one of which Mindy is a member of.

How's that Naw vote working out for you Minders?

    Fair enough.

Can you see the English voting in a party led by a guy who stood for a minutes silence for the 8 IRA men when they were killed by the SAS at Loughgall and who has a chancellor who said that Bobby Sands was his Hero and that the IRA deserve praise?

    It isn't going to happen.

Maybe, I don't even read the metro... I don't believe it was that big a deal, most had decided by then, most others should know not to trust tories and tabloids

Show them a pic of Martin McGuinness joking with the Queen

It's one they'll hold onto for four years, unless Corbyn spins it as peacemaker after 3

I'm happy we have the chance to find out

Mindy's either too young or he hasn't read his 70s/80s political history. Michael Foot was a far more astute man than Corbyn and had far more political experience and got absolutely slaughtered. What do you think's going to happen to Corbyn over the next four or five years? Look at what the Tories and their friends did in the press did to Salmond during the last WE election? They had the English middle-classes ****ting it that the SNP were going to march down to England and steal all their precious income and taxes.

Multiply that by a hundred when it comes to Corbyn. Middle England will all vote Tory to keep him out of power.

It seems that Mindy wants to live in a Socialist country. Well, he had the chance to do that by voting yes last September and shat it. Now, despite all the warnings of what would happen in the event of a No vote, we're stuck with the Tories for **** knows how long. Here's a wee bit of advice Mindy: next time there's an independence referendum vote Yes and you can vote Labour for the rest of your life safe in the knowledge that a left leaning Labour party will at least have a good chance of governing. Because, and I hate to start a sentence with a conjunction, if you ever want to live in a left-wing leaning country then it ain't ever going to be in Great Britain.

McGuinness met the Queen more than 15 years after the IRA stopped bombing England. Corbyn was doing this while it happened.

Over the next 5 years we will definitely find that out

Then again look how well YES did without media support...

It's being called grassroots politics but there was no real cry for independence in the years leading up to it... People grew into it I feel and became inspired

All Corbyn wants is a 5 year term, not a coup

Thats bullshit. I said Corbyn was unelectable and I gave you various reasons why. So has ST. So have others.

You seem to not care if the labour party is unelectable as long as they have policies that are of a socialist bent.

Wtf use is there of having policies they will never be able to impliment because their leader and his pals are crackpots?

Its you thats missed the point and lost the plot also.
