I agree. Rodgers is brilliant. A one of a kind masterpiece, he is going to be the first manager to win Serie A, La Liga, and the Indian Premier League with an English football team.

Heck, screw Corbyn, Rodgers could lead Liverpool to win the NFL whilst leading Labour to victory across Southern England at the same time.

He could manage 2 clubs simultaneously and they'd both win the Premier League.

    Rodgers for life!

I think Rodgers would make a good #2 to be honest. He has people skills, just not technical skills.

"I honestly believe that for the aforementioned, he could attract some names. I'm sure there are some good players in Europe who would think... 'Brendan Rodgers, I'd like to play for him'."

**** me how wrong you were <laugh>

'...Look at him now, he changes tactics that change the game. He's not afraid to be ruthless. He has the respect of the players. The way he dealt with Suarez last summer, Andy Carroll before that. The way he handles the pressure. Yes he's made mistakes, he'll make more. No matter where we finish, I couldn't be happier with/for him. '

Looking back, how silly to praise a man to the rafters like that mid season? After the title win , fair enough. <laugh>

Now we know it had been all Suarez. Changes tactics? No. he is frozen with his 4-3-3 and his old fashioned ideas. Cannot face experienced managers without crumbling. Lost the respect of the players? Handles the pressure? No.

And no we are not happy with him <laugh>

    Hindsight, eh?
Of course, when Sturridge is back and everything magically drops into place and we win the next three PL titles in a row, we'll look back at this and laugh..........
And say we were right the first time. <ok>
