will have a better impact than Avram.

I will bite off anything if anyone gave me - 2nd place & CL final. <whistle>

On a serious note (which 5 games in sounds silly), two more bad results could end any chance of competing for the league. Top four should still be viable though.

Yes Top 4 will be very wide open. At this rate, I won't be surprised if there 20pts difference between 1st & 2nd.

I always think of City as a team that will go through a dry patch, hope it continues this season to keep things interesting.

Ofcourse they will go through a patch. But we won't be in a position to challenge. So there is no point about arguing 1st place - it is all but DONE.

Seriously - you wouldn't expect goons or you to bother City!! Do you?

Palace & Lester have as much chance as you both have.

At this point no, I see no real challengers. Still, five games in seems a little too early to give the trophy to someone

Fortunately nobody else stands out besides City. So we should certainly be in the mix for the top 4 come the end of the season.

A comfortable win over Tel Aviv could add someone confidence to the team but that's more hope than expectation.

Well I had the weekend from hell.
Over worked at work, then Chelsea lose, then Sunday morning, my daughter decides to pour a cup of tea on my £1,200 PC that I have just had repaired, rendering it ****ed.

If you don't see me around a lot, I may have murdered my wife and daughter and am in prison <ok>

If Newcastle win this evening you will be in the relegation zone. Come on, that's funny!

It's only the Spanners the Toon are playing, so it should be a breeze. We're on the same number of points as the Spanners, so the more goals the Toon can put past them the better for us.

By the way, our win against Sunderland was just what we needed! It's amazing what a win can do for you, not that you Chelsea boys will know what I'm talking about.
<ok>

Astro uses the holiday excuse after a Liverpool defeat. Prison is an innovative alternative.

lol
Wouldn't stop me posting, they have internet in prison these days I think :)

An enforced weekend visit to the clap clinic could also be a good cover for times like this - less embarrassing, see, but a good diversion, nonetheless.

Don't thank me, this is for free.

Or I could just say that I am too pissed off to talk about football, which is what i would do <laugh>
Have done this many times.
I am okay with us losing, obviously I prefer us winning, but being down in like 15th place takes me back to the early 90's.
Mark Stein, Nigel Spackman, Dennis Wise, Frank Sinclair, Dmitri Kharine et all.

That's a good way to look at it Bodanki! In fact I'm going to go back further and remember the days when we were going backwards and forwards from the 1st and 2nd divisions.

I was only born in 83, and didnt really get into football till the early 90's to be honest.

The only side that can bother City now is City. Same as when they won the league in 2012 and 2014, and their pathetic attempts at a title defence the following seasons - every time they get in a strong position they conspire to **** it up to the point at which they are hanging on by the skin of their teeth or worse.

I can't see us or Arsenal getting more than 80 points this season, which shouldn't be enough to win the title. But I can definitely see City somehow managing to end up with 81 or 82 points and letting the title go down to the final weekend again when they could have sewn it up by March.

I don't see this £ity side even coming close to losing the title.

Arsenal are the ones who implode.

United aren't even in the race, so they cannot be a threat.

Yeah City should walk it to be honest.
No real challenge for them this season.
Arsenal will probably keep up the longest, but I think City will smash it by at least 8 points.
