Long time since we had a soup thread.

Home made leek and tattie I shall be making tomorrow.

Souperlicious.

Hard to beat the leak and spud, with a smattering of cream of course.

My Ma makes a Minestrone to die for too.

I recently happened across a recipe for spicy beetroot soup in a magazine in my GP's waiting room. I tore out the recipe and took it home to my wife, who has agreed to make it for me during the week. Perhaps if it's a winner, I could post the recipe on this thread.

Excellent feel free. Like the sound of that. Love beetroot.

Seriously soup? Only jakeballs drink soup you can't even say eat as it's a ****ing liquid. It's a slippery slope to drinking from the colostomy bag brothers. Abandon the soup it's not big and it's not clever. ER I know you beat Celtic today but this thread is way to self indulgent. That is meant in love man<peacedove>

So you're the **** that keeps ripping bits out of the magazines at my GPs.

Top tip for a homemade tomato soup, dice some haloumi and dry fry it and add to soup as croutons.

****ing magic <ok>

It was stickied by Jip for a laugh. Sadly, Jip subsequently died and Mick, being a club-footed ******, hasn't worked out how to unsticky it.
Just because you can't have bacon, ham or chicken in your omelettes, don't take it out on the thread.
