    That'll be it. Any good?

I watched The Hurt Locker again recently, I put stuff like that on so the Mrs will leave me alone for a couple of hours usually, plus that's a great watch.

It's a great film. Watched it a few times. There's loads of good documentaries on you tube as well about the same subject

The Thing. 1982 or 2011 version?

Think we can discount the 1950s crap.

82 version for me. A classic.

I'll have a watch, hoping it's not too 'American' if you know what I mean. I know it's the Seals etc but they do tend to overdo the hero part in war movies.

What you reckon to the more modern war movies? Bomb disposal units and terrorist hunting, do you reckon they'll stand the test of time vs movies like Platoon, Saving Private Ryan etc?

The <laugh> wasn't about the movie, it was... never mind.

I'm not watching some flop B movie that tells half a story.

You just said it's why you hate the yanks, for **** sake, that was a few soldiers who were given between 90 and 110 years in prison for their crimes. Arabs do it to their own and get away scott-free because the Qu'ran says it's ok. <doh>

I never denied it happened mate, dunno why you've flipped ya lid. I'm not trying to defend the yanks at all, just tried to make light of a film I'd never heard of and you went in a bit serious, no worries Billy, have a good day too.
