The new stadium, easy. Unless I can sell my naming rights. Which means it really would make more sense to create a LEGO new stadium. Then I could sell it to ENIC so they can show prospective sponsors what their name would look like on the new stadium... ...there have been worse ideas...execs would get a laugh out of that *tablecloth yanked off with great aplomb, to reveal their name on a scale model LEGO new stadium*, and might just be more inclined to fork over the moolah... ...but I’m clearly giving this too much thought. (EDIT--I see now you were asking Spurm...)
I don't have any LEGO but this weekend I'm gonna play with the LEGO designer and see what I can come up with. Actual construction might have to wait til December as seems silly to buy 2000 LEGO bricks and then have to ship them to the US
Be good to do the naming rights stadium too eventually. Can have a little spurs shrine in my man cave* *which I don't have, one day hopefully
It's not like the other options were much of an improvement, though... Holland and Belgium: Ajax fans are subjected to anti-semitic chants, racist chants by Feyenoord fans in last season's Europa League, Go Ahead Eagles fans racially abused Giliano Wijnaldum last season even though he plays for them, Charleroi fans have a reputation for anti-semitic chants and Nazi salutes - which led to a riot in their Europa league qualifier with Beitar Jerusalem a couple of months ago England: Spurs fans are subjected to anti-semitic chants, Chelsea fans racially abusing a black man in Paris last season and singing to support it as it happened, clubs and fans trying to make excuses when one of their players racially abuses a fellow professional, Walsall fans racially abuse two Wolves players in 2012 and neither the Football League nor The FA took any action whatsoever Spain and Portugal: Espanyol and Atletico Madrid fans have a reputation for banana throwing and monkey chants - which the RFEF do nothing about, Porto fined for racist chants by their fans in the Champions League a few seasons back, Benfica fans have a reputation for monkey chants
How can you let them have World Cup when they still behave like this? Then there's the homophobic laws and the corruption on top of that. Reward them when they actually do something about it, not whilst they're still a mess.
I'm like 75% sure I've got this. Working from home today so obviously the LEGO designer has been downloaded. I've done 1 external corner of the stadium so far. Inside is the difficult bit
Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. There’s a lot good and bad, really. I’ve forgotten, sorry. Where are you moving, again?
Just think of how exciting it will be for you when we play another pointless pre-season friendly over there!
Will it come in a huge box, but be tiny when it's built? How can 5,000 pieces of Lego make something that's only 6" long and 4" wide? One of the great mysteries of life.
The online one is 70x50. Thats what, 2ft4 x 1ft8 or thereabouts and was 2000 bricks. I'm gonna see if I can make some improvements once I have the basics made.
My stepsister lives there. Everything I’ve heard about it is great. It would certainly be in my top ten and possibly top five best places to move to in the US. It’s got lots of interesting musical culture, and the weather’s as good as you’re going to get outside of the southwest. There are still seasons, but the winters are mild. Of course, the summers are hot as hell, but that’s true everywhere except the west coast and New England. Good luck. I think you’ll really like it. Other than the contact with Americans destroying your soul, of course.
Well thats good to hear, thanks. I've enjoyed my time there so far. Bit far away from the beach, but you can't win them all. Not been to a lake yet though so that might be an option.. Back to construction. I was designing the South stand, not the North. I got all confused looking at pictures. External South stand is complete
This thread has completely lost me. From what I can gather, Levy has put Spurm in charge of constructing the new stadium. However, since Spurm is moving in with rwaeb's stepsister over in Nashville, we will be moving there for the 2017-18 season. Whilst PNP has reservations about this move, he concedes that at least our pre-season tour will become local.
For someone who is 'lost' that's an excellent summary. It would save the rest of us a lot of time if you could write similar summaries of the other threads once or twice a day.........
