There was nothing wrong with the tone of your question Stroller. The derogatory tone and choice of my words in the title was deliberate and was done to draw attention to the way this thread was heading. It was to a large extent becoming over personal and quite often resorting to both extremes of the argument resulting in tit for tat school playground name calling. Anyway, let me know what title you want for your thread otherwise I'll amend it to its original one.
I watched it for about ten minutes and don't have a clue what they're doing but it's weirdly entertaining. I'm pretty sure half the crowd and some of the players don't have a clue either and just get excited when someone decides to hit the ball over the posts.
The title of the thread is not particularly important, but I do believe that threads such as this should be encouraged, rather than disparaged. Of course the forum should be predominately about QPR, but when I meet my mates before games, we don't talk exclusively about Rangers, we will often spend more time discussing current affairs, politics, films, anything. We will often strongly disagree with one another. The board should reflect this in my opinion. Anyway, Swords seems to have high-jacked the thread into a discussion about some obscure Irish pastime.
I'm trying to watch the game in between trying to prepare Sunday dinner for eight hungry souls. It's a compelling final with lots of drama and action. Forgive my brevity, one of the great attributes of our forum is the ability to discuss anything in an adult and respectful manner. This thread seems to have gone awry with this current topic. Of course I do appreciate that many of our posters enjoy these threads and having to solely concentrate and talk about QPR is too much for some, especially during the international breaks and moreso during the close season. My intervention is an attempt to restore some parity to proceedings, and not intended as a rebuke or the like.
You remind me of an American lady watching rugby for the first time last year. She said the very same thing. Sometimes its better to say nothing than say something and sound stupid
Absolutely spot on. Far too many posters either talking complete bollocks for the sake of it or others who think that they are either morally or intellectually above the rest and so continue to preach, condescendingly to everyone else. The site has become a complete bore as a consequence.

Ironic that you condemn others as condescending and post what you just did.
