If Bent hadn't left they way he did I'd take him back, but I hate him for that and would probably be pissed off if we signed him back. I would take back Darryl Murphy, I actually thought he was class!
100% agree with the first part, Pocket. As for the second part, they do have tablets that you can take, you know.
lol Murphy and class should not be allowed in the same sentence mate. Bent can go **** himself as far as I am concerned I would never have that little twat back. D'Jib was a good shout I always liked the way he played and Jones was ok but only in flashes. Craddock would be a big shout. Still cutting it in the premier and always loved his never say die attitude.
I think it speaks volumes about where the club is and the team we have that we seem to be struggling with people we would want back, Apart from Bent i dont think any currently playing players that could get in the team. But god do we miss Bent, i like our squad but without a top striker being brought in I think the season could be a struggle. Also says a lot that Henderson does not even get a mention! (only time will tell but i think it was a cracking deal for us)
Too true about Henderson, I feel we got a better player straight in place seb larrson for free. Then when you think 20m in the bank and we bring in 3 midfielders, Larrson, Vaughan and Gardner for the total sum of 6m. Cracking business. Still wish we'd never sold Kenwyne though, he scored a beautiful scuffer yesterday.
It wasn't your fault it flopped marra: I put it down to too many of our lads not taking it for the 'tongue in cheek' wind up that it was, and therefore sided with the Mags..
Yeah, it was tongue in cheek and was just trying to raise a few laughs and inject a little humour into a dour day. (one and half thousand views in total, most viewed thread of the day, says it all) People got a little serious from the off and missed the point, and as I've just watched the dark knight, in the words of the joker "why so serious?"
Julio Arca for me. Always liked the lad. Had caracter and played well for us and loved us, well, until he left that is.
