He's banned, mate, as you know. According to him, for making you a nervous wreck. I tried to point out that it was for just generally being an arsehole, but he doesn't seem to understand that.
As a wise man once said: 'An arsehole takes a look around, sees two cheeks and some hair, and assumes that it is a mouth.'
Did you see that old thread G4E linked to? I wasn't going to read it all, but what I got from that was Piskie was spouting the exact same nonsense 3 years ago and hasn't moved on 1 iota. I don't understand why he's not bored with the same old crap. His replies could all be copied and pasted they are so predictable.
There was a tweet in danish about him which seemed to give some credence that he was in fact injured and not on the move (transfer-wise) a few days ago. That was the last i heard. I would hope not.
C+ window for me - not as terrible as some people are saying it was, but on the other hand it could've been a lot better Positives: + Alderweireld looks like a fine addition to the back line, plus it's hilarious watching Southampton's holier-than-thou fans lose their **** because of it + Trippier offering Walker competition, which should see him improve + Wimmer adding depth at centre back + Son looks like he could be a great addition to the attack + N'Jie adds some much-needed pace + A lot of the dead wood has been shifted Negatives: - No cover for Kane (unless that's what N'Jie was signed for, but this is just guesswork) - No dedicated defensive midfielder (Dier can't play every game, so who covers for him?) - One saga for Alderweireld was bad enough, a second for Berahino was ludicrous - Missing out on players due to dithering (notably Konoplyanka) - Monaco using us to get as much money for Martial as they could get - Adefuckingbayor is still at the club
I agree as I rather rudely pointed out to him recently, he's a pedantic fool who just has to have the last word - even if that last word is total bollocks, like most of the preceding ones. He is so ****ing persistent too, as you've alluded to. He's more difficult than a severe dose of clap to get rid of!..
I'd agree with a C+ grading. Defensive signings were good, Toby - with the Stoke mistake aside - has looked class, Wimmer and Trippier have added some much needed competition and will hopefully do well when their chances come. Alli is looking like a star in the making. N'Jie brings a lot of speed and decent goal threat. Son has been our marquee signing, a top player from the Bundesliga who'll add a lot the team while also bringing in a lot of South Korean attention which will please Levy. Most of the deadwood was shifted. Negatives are lack of support for Kane. Allowing the Berahino saga to drag on for so long only to fail in getting him. Ade is still here, though if no club is willing to sign him then I can't blame Levy/ the board for not agreeing to pay him off. The Lennon scenario wasn't nice to see, ok there may have been a rift at some point but Lennon has given a lot of service and a lot of memories to this club (Winning goal vs Chelsea years back, equalising goal vs Arsenal years back, assist for Crouch at the San Siro) and so seeing him just completely shafted, without even a decent acknowledgement when we sold him was really disappointing from the club, when Daws left there was a lot of appreciation and on twitter there were "#ThankYouDaws" messages, they should've done similar for Azza.
If we're realistic i doubt there is any chance Levy would have him back after the way he left. Its only been 7 short years
He did play in Ledders' testimonial, and there were no reports of Levy having a few burly men waiting for him outside the dressing room.
We had to submit our Europa squad by midnight last night. So we should find out soon if Adebayor is in it.
I know that ideally Kane needs a rest but does anyone else feel it might also be beneficial for him to play for England consider we're playing San Marino?
