Its ivan , he should have been one taken him and cesc, but you can see jose will not put up with it for long, he arent wenger
Indeed, Ivan didn't cope too well with those speedy Palarse wingers running full pelt at him. My plus points from yesterday are that Kenedy looks to be a superb footballer and a great acquisition and now Falcao has scored we might see him score for fun from now on.
If you whip balls into the box then Falcao will get some goals for you. His instinctive finishing is still there. Through balls and trying to create space when he's got the ball at his feet is where he struggles. Our game wasn't suited to him, hence he was very disappointing. Chelsea's style of play may work better for him.
Agreed. you had the bigger tree for all your long balls. We don't have anyone up there, because we don't do long balls. For one off crosses Falcao will be the beneficiary.
I reckon the pre-season world tour knackered quite a few squad members. They went from London to the Far East then to Australia then to the USA and back to London so that's 4 lots of jet lag they had to get over. Didn't Manchester City do similar the pre season before last after winning the Premiership? A world tour can't be an ideal way to prepare for a league season.
He's going to have to score a ****load of goals as it looks like Chelsea will need to score at least two a game just to get a draw.
With the talent in the squad there's no reason for us not to be able to score 3 or 4 goals per game against the likes of Palarse and Swansea - and there lies the problem.
Still think the bigger issue is the midfield. Fabregas redundant when defending and Matic well out of form means they've got absolutely no protection. We are so desperate for that all round midfielder to play alongside side Matic.
We have an alternate problem. We rarely, if ever, look like scoring a goal. City are going to run away with it this season. You're a shambles at the back, we have no cutting edge up top and Arsenal are Arsenal.
Well there is a long way in the season to go (at least I hope so for my own team to turn it around)...Maureen usually gets it right in the end...although passing blame onto medical staff probably was not the wisest move
oh please it was a nothing comment that the red tops and talkshite blew up into the equivalent of the Jimmy saville scandal, load of absolute rubbish
I can't say it's as big a shock for me as it seems it is for other people, Palace have possibly the most dangerous midfield in the EPL. When Bolasie, Zaha and Cabeye are on form, I don't think there's a defence that can stop them, especially Bolasie. He has pace, power, flair and control, I'm surprised no one has come in for him tbh.
I think you're exaggerating a little when you say most dangerous in the epl but they are very, very good. No doubt about it. It mystifies me as to why we weren't in for Cabaye. In fact I don't know why any of the bigger sides weren't in for him. He's up there with the best in the division.
Yea but she is pretty...and the ref waved them on so he looks a petty bully. On his defence he has to the top or close to the top manger in the world. Undoubtedly he will prove it in the next weeks as he turns it round
You pretend it's raining hard and you're playing for Chelsea, so roll around in the mud feigning injury so she'll come on and waste time treating you?
