I know it will be guesswork, but can you draw any conclusions from your experiences of running a game, along with what we learned last night, as to how many teams and bad guys we might be dealing with. The lack of knowledge of this seems to be one of our biggest stumbling blocks.
On ACS - we have ignored him completely today, which is probably just what he would want. We don't know his new role but I suspect it isn't good. Can he be killed again?
JPF is confusing. The tells he left made it more likely he would be taken out by an innocent player, but that isn't the way I read the summary.
As for the team building, is it possible that not all evil players know they are evil yet? Do the evil team(s) grow stronger through recruitment? That was the way I read it, but there must have been at least one more member (the assassin) who already knew they were evil. The fact that the known role is JPF's team is an assassin also points to there being another team with an assassin, or he was taken out by a good assassin.
Not sure why Lucaas was targeted or protected. He was one of the ones who went in heavily on Gerrez and AFC (I think - need to check back). Was that why? Or was it a random kill from someone not worried who was killed as they knew he wasn't on their team? I can't see any reason to protect Lucaas last night unless he was protecting himself without anything else to go on. He has denied protecting himslef, but that would be fairly standard. None of this tells us if he is good or bad though. A few people seem to have evil reads on him so he is one to keep an eye on.
1. On game mechanics.
I said day 1 i thought that there would either be one team of 4 out of 18 players who were evil or 2 teams of 3. from what we learned last night is that there was two assassins and one holy arrow shooter. That has lead me to think there are at least two evil teams.
We also got the info that ACS was evil but his info was very different from JPF. That led me to think there are more actors in this play than we might think. I think there are more teams some good some bad all out to go do something. the info that ACS joined another team supports this.
2. ON both ACS and JPF
I'm not ignoring ACS but he is off and so far looking back i can't see much from him. now he's risen to come again he's changed his tune a bit so i suspect he was trying to hide out yesterday.
JPF: he was evil but why was hit hit by an assassin. What was the motive there. you are right that obviously his own team didn't kill him so who did? If the second assasin is evil then the other evil team targeted him which then has to bring up the question who did? JPF prod yesterday that caused enough to want to silence him.
who crossed paths with JPF? he listed 4 of us, including me and you and lucaaas? and obi? gerrez? need that post. He clealry was saying vote obi late.
you are right there has to be a tell in there someplace as someone wanted him dead.
3. Team building:
anything is possible. You could have people wanting to be signed up, people not wanting to be signed up, people who don't know or recruiters trying to pick the best people.
We have been told by the note that the skull team is assembling. is this the rising evil? Is this a building team and did the kill in effect block them recruiting last night so they have a day short.
If you do the maths say if they had 2 people 4 days recruits = 6, say they get to end on 4 people. why? we are seeing 3/4 kills day . If they ended up n 4 men on the final day then they'd outnumber the town surely (i predicted 6 left earlier remember)
4. On lucaaas. you are right to look at both sides here. Someone again targeted and someone defended. Why?
Defending can be 3 things. a hunch pick, a definitive read on something or a team play.
Targeting has to be something said. just like JPF. who was lucaaas onto. when lucaaas comes on tonight (he always says he gets it due to not being on during day) Lets hear from him abuot this. who would target you
@Lucaaas who would defend you?
