According to the BBC "Joleon Lescott has completed his medical at Aston Villa ahead of signing from West Brom".
I saw the name on BBC deadline day thread and had to check it out! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34113792
Decent signing for them, as long as he stays fit and on form he'll give them plenty of experience at the back. He'll be on big wages still though I imagine, and I still reckon Villa are going to be involved in the relegation scrap.

Things are getting as desperate as we feared and have been talking about for weeks. We are gonna get shafted on price for average players if we are not careful.

Stoke, Norwich and one other (unnamed) Premier League club are interested in Walters, but none have yet reached Stoke's £3m valuation of the forward. Stoke are reluctant to allow Walters to leave without bringing in a striker of their own, and we understand they are currently in negotiations with an unnamed club over a potential deal. Grant. @Gwar_grant96 So after getting 120 mil we are going to sign Jon Walters, may as well just relegate us now. Same old negative Norwich. #ncfc
Always a little awkward just in case they contribute on here also, but in his case - contribute or not, you are a twunt with a capital T
Derby have signed Jacob Butterfield - remember him? - should hopefully end any interest they may have had in Bradders.
And no one is going out (i.e. Grabban). Seems like we are stuck with Nicolas Anelka without the talent.
Whilst it is too early to get depressed the fact remains that all we have actually signed today is a striker who doesn't have a work permit and therefore might not be able to play for us. Whilst our current squad might have been good enough to survive a couple of years ago we now have to look at the players other similar sides have signed to suggest that unless there are dramatic developments in the next 4 hours we could be in trouble.
