“La Liga had said Real Madrid’s paperwork turned up 28 minutes late. However, I’m now hearing from the La Liga offices that they haven’t received any documentation about David de Gea at all! Not on time, not early, not minutes late, nothing at all. As we speak, no paperwork asking to add De Gea to the Real Madrid squad. The plot thickens..."

Considering man yoo have been left with a keeper who doesn't want to play for them when they could have got an able replacement+plus the money the new sooper dooper Henry cost with a few bob left over for jelly and ice cream I'd say Rafa's Real are sitting pretty and will get De Gea for nothing in the summer.

I would think after ****ing him about all summer and then not even being bothered to fill some paperwork in de Gea will tell them to shove it up their arse now :emoticon-0100-smile

You're being naive if you think De Gea wasn't in on it and ITK about what was going on.

Martial who?

There are some reassuring noises coming out of Manchester United about Monaco striker Anthony Martial not being a panic buy but rather Louis van Gaal having been monitoring him for some time.

If true, it seems no-one bothered to ask captain Wayne Rooney his opinion on his potential strike-partner.

Footage has emerged of United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin speaking to French television on Monday about Rooney's reaction to speculation linking Martial to United.

"To be honest, yesterday on the plane, Wayne Rooney came to speak to me and asked me who Martial was, because the English press had started to speak," said Schneiderlin.

"I told him he’s a great player with great potential, who has played some good matches with Monaco last season and the beginning of this."

It is definitely a panic buy - especially given how he was available for just 20m EUR earlier on this summer.

United made a very good start to the summer but they have ballsed this up massively.

The utd adoring press wouldn't dare say it was a panic buy due to the hovering ban hammer over the journos heads at news conferences at OT.

Madrid playing games and by signalling their intent to get de gea they get t speak to him and put Madrid firmly in his head... But not completing it mean can get him for free on pre contract in January.

Wouldnt be be surprised if that were to happen
