We've got enough to stay up, this was our first proper bad game in a long time and all teams have bad games every now again. Yes we have the right manager and where has the flair gone? I suspect it will come back in the next game.

Meh. Lost against a top half side with 10 men from the 30th minute. Move on to the next game.

Harsh based on one match. Suggest you view the highlights of the other matches.

I wonder if dealing with Grabban's antics together with last minute transfer work load have affected AN's preparation for this game. No real excuse obviously but distractions from the usual day-to-day all the same.

An excellent and very valid point HQMC and equally the stupidity of Whittaker didn't help his team, especially as he's been playing much better recently. I'm sure we'll see a different mentality and approach by the players who are selected to play against Bournemouth!!!
IMO, the International break couldn't have come at a better time - just let's hope that all our international players return uninjured.

We were second best for most of the time prior to the sending off but at least we held our own and we were in a position to turn things round. Whittaker getting himself sent off cost us our most creative player and pretty much any chance of getting anything from the game. The ref and the antics of the opposition did not help but Whittaker committed two idiotic yellow card offences in less than four minutes which is criminal for an experienced international player. Hopefully our loan ranger will come in and do a job to shore up the right back position because Whittaker is not going to be able to cope this season.

Bloody hell - just found the sending off double yellow, and they were soft as...I'm not sure the second was anything but the usual rough and tangle that goes on at all levels, but the referee reacted far far too quickly methinks...

Yeah I'm not overly concerned about it. I'm sure AN will see to it.

You could say it's a bit 50/50 with these two.
Brady is probably a better crosser of the ball when he pushes forward but is more likely to get caught out at the back - only my opinion of course.

I would like to see both of them playing at the same time but that might upset the midfield a bit.

It'd be interesting to see, but then begs the question of who you drop. Perhaps as an alternative outlet to Redmond when we want to be really tight defensively? Using Brady and Redmond in midfield would mean dropping Howson or Hoolahan, which seems harsh/unlikely right now.
