No it was Moyes and his famous dithering.
He made derogatory offers early in the summer for a number not Everton players. As we have seen this window, Everton don't take kindly to these types of insults.
I've always had admiration for Everton. Unlike the RS they are a proper and solid football club and their fans are not deluded.

With a proper striker in place and a solid GK, LVG will now improve on this poor record.
Something like 20 players have been sold or left since van Gaal took over. Some of our fans massively underestimate the size if the rebuild and meltdown over literally everything.
I was one of those a few years ago but now look at the bigger picture.
